It sounds like your 'silent switch' is ON. It should be OFF.

Sure it is kind of ridiculous but this app has way more polish than any vuvuzela app could ever even deserve.

Do NO T buy the in app add-on
You cannot transfer it across devices - i.e.: iPod to iPhone or even another iPhone... in fact when you sync your devices, the app forgets that you bought the add-on and if you want to display your country colours, you have to buy again...

Best Vuvuzela App
Really fun and easy to use. Great features are that you can have multiple Vuvu's on screen at same time plus audio goes up or down by the way you tilt it! And for .99 upgrade you can pick the colors of any team!
