About

Flight delayed by three hours or more, cancelled at short notice, or were you bumped from an overbooked flight? Under European rules (Regulation (EC) No 261/2004) the airline may owe you €250, €400 or €600 in cash — on top of any refund. Vylet tells you in seconds whether you're entitled and how much. HOW IT WORKS • Pick where you flew from and to — over 3,000 airports worldwide, works offline • Tell us what happened: delay, cancellation or denied boarding • Answer two or three quick questions — only the ones that matter for your case • See the amount right away, together with the reasoning behind it WHAT VYLET CHECKS • Whether your flight is covered: departures from the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the UK on any airline, and flights into Europe on European airlines • The amount by distance: €250 up to 1,500 km, €400 up to 3,500 km or within Europe, €600 beyond that • The three-hour threshold for delays, measured at your final destination • How much notice you got of a cancellation, and whether a replacement flight halves the amount • Extraordinary circumstances such as bad weather or air traffic control strikes — the only lawful reason for an airline to refuse • Flights from the UK under UK261, with amounts in pounds LIVE DEPARTURE BOARDS Departures and arrivals for Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger, Tromsø and six more Norwegian airports, plus Hamburg, updated every few minutes. Tap a delayed or cancelled flight to check your compensation with the route and delay already filled in, or follow it to get an alert when its status changes. PAST FLIGHTS COUNT TOO You can usually claim for flights from the past few years — the time limit depends on the country. FILE A CLAIM If you're entitled, one tap takes you to a partner claims service that deals with the airline for you. Such services usually work on a no-win, no-fee basis and share part of their commission with us — that's how checking your flight in Vylet stays free. ALSO IN VYLET Live departure boards for Russian airports, with an automatic mass-delay detector and a guide to passenger rights under Russian rules. Vylet is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. The final decision rests with the airline or a court.

What's New in Vylet

1.5

September 29, 2026

What's new: • What the airline owes you. A new screen for flights in Europe: meals, two calls, a hotel — and, when a flight is cancelled, your choice between free re-routing and a full refund. Regulation (EC) 261/2004, articles 8 and 9. • Airport weather. When flights are held up, you can now see why: fog, snow, strong wind, low cloud.
