Can’t believe you are a fan and you have to say this

Do you want me too come to the party or not yet because you don’t have any plans today so I’m not going out very nice and number one

unstable app

Inconsistent network stability, regularly randomly drops network and user are expected to spend hours going through their archive to find answers. When it is paid for product, users should only concerns themselves with usage not learn networking and troubleshooting. Ridiculous.

The worst VPN I ever tried

Within a week, I had to not only cancel my subscription but also delete my account with them. The connection was stable when “connected” both on iPhone and iPad, but the catch was that every few hours I had to connect it and also keep changing the protocol and other settings, as if it’s a puzzle that I was forced to play entire day with my devices. Same issue with the MacBook; in fact, it became far worse today, which led me to delete my account altogether: all of a sudden the app kept asking me my password and small boxes kept popping up all over the screen despite I entered my password in one box, and sometimes the number of box pop-ups were so annoying that it won’t even let me enter my password. Also, I was under impression it’s a Swiss company, but it turns out it’s owned by a Texas-based company. I will not recommend this VPN provider.

Not working w/iPhone 17 pro

Have had this service for a few years and it has worked perfectly up until I upgrade my phone to an iPhone 17 pro. Has not worked since.

Not Connecting

Not connecting at all to servers

Response from developer

Sorry to hear about the issue! It may help to try using Chameleon protocol, and try a few different server locations in your area. It may also help to try logging out of the VyprVPN app, and then log back in with your email and password. If the trouble persists, please feel free to get in touch with support any time - https://support.vyprvpn.com/hc/requests/new

Very helpful

Their new connection method is genius and it actually works!

Nice

I do love it

Last update make the app lagy and worse

please fix the scrolling. is to lagy and pings are always Red. before the last update it was fine but not now

Not 100%

I live in the SW. VPN tends to get stuck, and on many occasions I have to keep switching cities in order to be able to get Internet. Sometimes I must reboot my iPhone 14 to get it working again.

User

The app is beautiful when it works. But the servers crash often and take a while to come back online.

Installing VPN profile causes apps to think they are offline

I installed this as I had a gift code and wants to give it a go. As soon as I installed the VPN profile, apps began thinking they were offline. First troubleshooting step was to switch from WireGuard to openVPN. Issue persisted. Didn’t matter if the VPN was connected or not, apps thought they were not connected. Removed the profile and the issue went away.

Reinstalled the profile and the issue came back. Located that Connect on Demand is enabled by default. Not what I need as I use this for public hotspots. Turned it off. Issue persisted.

Oh, there’s a firewall enabled by default? Didn’t ask for that. I turned it off. Same issues. As long as the VPN profile is installed, apps think they are offline. It’s like the VPN service is still trying to do something even though I am not using it.

So I reached out to support. In a series of what feel very much like AI responses, the troubleshooting data in my original ticket was ignored and I was spoon fed each step I had already said I did. I have yet to have someone real actually respond.

As such, I cannot recommend this service. If simply installing their profile interrupts the function of your device, it is poorly written and not at all what you want from a VPN. No, it’s not the WireGuard protocol. Not only have I tried other protocols with the same issue, I have another VPN profile installed that causes no issues. And…it was suggested I remove that one in order to make theirs work. That’s not how multiple profiles function. If yours is the only one that can be installed, your profile is broken.
