Couldn’t playback on app IOS 16+
One of the worst mobile phone apps I’ve used. Their standard VMS app was simple and flawless . With all the negative reviews , tech support isn’t aware of any issues , despite all 1 star reviews.

In the ios app i cannot review any video recorded in the last 12 hrs. I have to go to the dvr which defeats the purpose

Antiquated, very limiting
Not user friendly at all. Playback is near impossible. Delays like 10 seconds to go to the time and day you select if it goes there at all. Don’t try to go further back or forward. Will freeze. No matter how fast your network, live delay is 2 minutes.
So Slow!
It takes minutes before W Box loads. It’s not my phone nor internet connection. My other DVR loads instantly from my phone.
Needs updating
Since apple updated to iOS 14 the app doesn’t work from mobile access. Can as be updated ?
App and system are terrible
App keeps freezing and I cannot launch configuration management. System will not sync with NTP server and when it reboots it goes back to the beginning of time. I need to keep reseating cables for the POE to power a couple of cameras.

Playback
Can’t get any playback through the app, which is very disappointing!! Can see live images no problem but to see any playback from a specific time and date is impossible I’m running the app on IOS PLEASE FIX!!!!!!!

I really wish you would invest some money in the app and fix the issues of playback, live view lag/freeze and many other issues. I can’t use myself let alone sell to anyone.
App needs a major overhaul
I recently upgraded my nvr & cameras. I used the other (older?) VMS app. I never had an issue. It worked great, never crashed, etc... This app crashes and LAGS! I’ve only had this app for a few days, I’ll give it a little bit of time. If nothing improves, I’m going to see if there is a different app I can use with my camera brand.

Don’t buy
Remote login is impossible only working occasionally, I have to dump the app and switch the box on and off. I also have a ring device and it’s 10 times the device. Total waste of money

This app is junk. Remote access doesn’t work. Even in the home access is spotty at best.

WBox products are a total waste of time & money
Wbox products are the ultimate worst dvr systems. I bought 2 for my 2 businesses. They have too many issues on the iPhone app & on the desktop program I use windows. The program constantly freezing windows. I can’t even force it to end w the task manger. I have to hard reboot it. It happens so often, it’s started to corrupt my windows files. On the iPhone app, the app is freezing the second I open it & totally is not functional. I have the latest update. Final word stay away from WBox products.

I called technical support. The rep said the app works fine on his iPhone. I should contact Apple to make it work on my iPhone. Where is the developer of this app? The was totally rude at the end as it’s not their problem. Final word is Do Not Buy or Use WBox Products. !!

I’d like to give this app no stars, can’t remember a time it actually worked properly, waste of time.
Worthless app
Absolutely worthless app; doesn’t support landscape mode, unable to export saved videos. What’s the point?
Back to the drawing board
Historically I don’t leave negative responses or replies, but this app. OMG..... I’ve used many apps. Honestly, this app needs to be scrapped. You waste more time trying to remote view than you actually get to view. If you’re lucky and get an image it crashes within a minute. You leave the app with a sunken feeling every time you attempt to use it. My recommendation: look at other apps that work. Then take this app back to the drawing board. Time is your most valuable asset. After attempting to use this app you feel like you actually lost time.

When will there be an update to the app? Agree with previous reviews, app needs a lot of work. All my other apps have updated regularly, is there anyone even paying attention to these comments?
I’m a Pro and Say No No No!!!!
I’m professional security camera installer and this has to be one of worst apps I have ever used. Landscape mode does not work it’s horrible ,wrong!. Having to select device every time to see cameras wrong! Huge lag time horrible wrong!! I will not sell another W box camera system until this app is updated PERIOD!!!!
