J’étais sur liste depuis longtemps. J’ai enfin reçu l’acces (peut etre comme tout le monde) et là on dechante vite : sans verif d’identité on ne peut rien faire…
Vu la capacité de l’europe a endiguer les cybermenaces on hésite un peu puis on a pas le choix…et ça commence mal : la verif est faire par une seconde appli..genial! Qui en plus n’arrive pas a lire la puce nfc de ma cni.
Je passe alors a la verif « automatique » avec passeport ert selfie en me disant ca va prendre 2 secondes. Que neni …48h max pour une verif « automatique » bref du mal ficelé comme nos chers dep europeen savent bien faire. Je degage cette brelle de mon telephone

Durchwachsen
Ich bin laut W Identity verifiziert. Interessiert nur leider W Social nicht. Die Verifizierung hat bestimmt 35 Anläufe gebraucht, um ein maschinelles Ausweisdokument zu lesen. Das ist einfach alles nicht wirklich reif. Schade, groß angekündigt und dann sowas.
Verifikationen
Geht leider nicht. Der Scanner erkennt den Pass nicht. Irgendwie typisch Europäisch.

I struggled to identity initially, but realised it was my own fault. I did not go to the original email from W to use the OR code.
Verification Broken
Like so many others it won’t verify my ID as it says my passport chip can’t be trusted. Very poor implementation and obviously zero testing. Sent email to support with no response. Wanted it to be so much better than X but you failed.
Mostly pointless
The mandatory identity verification service, through the companion "w identity" app is too buggy to allow me to meaningfully register. Many other people are reporting the same problems.

Der Verifizierungsprozess ist zu umständlich. Und die dafür notwendige App ziemlich verbuggt.
Ist man drin, kommt die Ernüchterung. Ist man nicht an Klimaschutz oder EU Politik interessiert, wird es sehr schnell langweilig.

Verification broken
Like many others I can't get past the verification step - my passport's chip couldn't be trusted. Mailed support but no response. Now it tells me it can't find my invite, despite me being logged in! Another support request sent. Yes it's early days but if you get invited you expect that the service is available. For those thinking of signing up, I'd wait. I'm not sure I want to waste my time on this.

Registrieren nicht geglückt
Als Alternative zur Konkurrenz genutzt und unterstützt. Allerdings hat die Seite zur Anmeldung so große Fehler gehabt, dass ich mir dachte - so dringend brauch ich das dann auch wieder nicht. Zur App selbst kann ich daher nichts sagen
Unusable
I tried to get W Social to work on my iPad. I installed this app and the W id app. Sadly, all I get is 'something went wrong' and despite their support team being involved I was unable to verify and log in. W social is unusable in this state.
Derzeit nicht sinnvoll nutzbar
Dank einer absolut nicht funktionsfähigen Identifikation lässt sich diese App nicht vollständig nutzen. Schade, der Ansatz war gut aber so wird das nichts.
Ausbaufähig
Stand heute nicht wirklich passender Content vorhanden und vorgeschlagen. Sprache lässt sich nicht filtern und/oder Feeds nicht übersetzen. Von daher ausbaufähig aber ich will der europäischen Variante erstmal weiterhin eine Chance geben
Hervorragend
Ich finde die App sehr gelungen, mit vielen nützlichen Funktionen und alles sehr übersichtlich gestaltet. Und bei mir zumindest funktioniert alles reibungslos. Auch die Verifizierung funktioniert wirklich super. Also die negativ Bewertungen kann ich nicht bestätigen, aber vielleicht liegt es einfach nur an meinem guten Karma, daß bei mir alles läuft 🤭

Can not verify account
I know this is beta but I’d expect support to respond to problems but there isn’t any.
I got to a stage in verification when they requested a phone number to send a code to and despite asking to resend, no code ever arrived!
All I can do is browse! Rubbish service and a waste of time!

Die Idee ist super aber ….
… wieder mal alles extrem kompliziert und umständlich, nicht wirklich selbsterklärend. Ich hoffe nicht, dass man mit dem Start der App die Chance vertan hat.
