Received invite link is not valid Updated!!!
I followed the invite link but when I tried to sign up verification code does not exist or something similar comes up. Emailed support. Not hoping for much tbh. Hope this will get sorted.
Update
My link expired because I waited too long to activate it. Contacted customer service.
Received a nice reply with a new QR code and successfully created my account and off I go. Perseverance pays off. Thank you.

Social media for real people
But always asks me to login in again
What a nightmare
2 apps! One to verify yourself to get into the actual app which doesn’t work so you can’t get into the app. I don’t need social media that much to have to use an app to get into an app! Crazy!

Very good
After some initial hiccups everything runs great!
Looks promising
W Social looks promising so far. The earlier version of W was super basic (as everything is) but the teams seems very vocal about taking into consideration what people want out of it so it can eventually compete with the much larger social media apps out there.

Real people
Real people real discussions. A breathe of fresh air

Brilliant!
I’ve been waiting for years for a social media like this, something with real people, accountable to their words.
I know the platform hasn’t fully opened up yet to the public but, when it does, I encourage people to join, this is the social media of Europe and the social media the world needs.

Durchwachsen
Verifikationen
Geht leider nicht. Der Scanner erkennt den Pass nicht. Irgendwie typisch Europäisch.
Great App
I struggled to identity initially, but realised it was my own fault. I did not go to the original email from W to use the OR code.
Verification Broken
Like so many others it won’t verify my ID as it says my passport chip can’t be trusted. Very poor implementation and obviously zero testing. Sent email to support with no response. Wanted it to be so much better than X but you failed.
Mostly pointless
The mandatory identity verification service, through the companion "w identity" app is too buggy to allow me to meaningfully register. Many other people are reporting the same problems.
Better than X
Still early stage and already better than X

Verification broken
Like many others I can't get past the verification step - my passport's chip couldn't be trusted. Mailed support but no response. Now it tells me it can't find my invite, despite me being logged in! Another support request sent. Yes it's early days but if you get invited you expect that the service is available. For those thinking of signing up, I'd wait. I'm not sure I want to waste my time on this.
