No connection
W100 will not connect and app keeps crashing this needs fixing issues with iPhone.

Not sure this is supported in latest ios updates as app just crashing so the convenience of the system is lost.

No more support. No more of my business ever Smanos. I have a blinking paper weight now.
Horrible
System is below average. Some sensors won’t trigger alarm. Others trigger it for no reason. Unreliable and poor excuse for alarm. The App won’t give you option to add another user to the alarm.

Previous version was better
Previous version was better as you could see date and time of alarm history but in this version it only show alarm history without timescale which is kind of useless.
Great DIY Alarm System
At first I was little hard to install the accessories because the booklet does not really tell you how to add them. I had to check online to find out how. But once you know how it is straightforward for all devices. Love the notification and loud siren!

Rubbish alarm system
Do not buy this alarm system!!!
The entire kit is full of manufacturing faults which has been independently verified.
Its 50/50. It may detect and warn or NOT. Likely it will not. Don’t risk your house security with this worthless kits.
The cover is all shiny and nice but the guts of it is cheap Chinese £1 pound worth of hardware.
Return your alarm back to the manufacturer for refund. You are protected by EU consumer law.

Good app
Does the job well of being able to control the alarm system. Happy that Smanos continues to update app. Keep the updates coming.
Link in app to update wrong
Please fix the link in the W100 update as it says you need to update the the app then sends you to the wrong one, the solution is go to the original W100 app in the AppStore and update from there.
Lost access to my alarm
I wish I'd read the comments on v2.2.1 before upgrading. Same issue. Lost all access to my alarm. Thank you SMANOS!! Luckily mine has one key fob. Seems they didn't read the reviews here before they flipped the forced upgrade switch cause it's been out a few days.
It crashes!
The update causes the app crashes the moment I open it. Please kindly fix it ASAP or the alarm would be useless! Thanks a lot!
V2.2.1 released 2nd May 2018
Do not download! Crashes upon launch. Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling but that crashes at mapping when the AP is at 100% so then stuck in a look requiring the mapping of the AP. Unfortunately I cannot upgrade from IOS 10.3.2 as I have applications that wont work on the newer IOS release.

biggest waste of money ever, have had to get alarm unit replaced twice. has zero functionality and poorly designed. no improvement attempts have been made. stay away from all there products
Have been very pleased with the W100
I have had the W100 now for over three years (actually 2 Year’s) as the first one quit working about 11 months in and smanos sent me a new system. I have added an additional 8 sensors and can’t complain.
No iPad version?!
The ability for an app to run on both iPad and iPhone is literally a difference of putting a tick in a box in XCode. Yet for 3 years this company can’t manage to do that.
Not only is the UI very poorly ‘designed’ but combined with iOS 11’s inabilities to search for purchased iPhone apps from your iPad it makes it hard to find and install too!
Ridiculous considering the price of all the sensors and bell boxes that this app and SMANOS in general take zero care of the app or the UX.

System doesn't work
Alarm stopped working one day. Camera doesn't work. It's frustrating to set up and to use. Money wasted. Plus they don't provide customer service.
App works, but short on refinement
If you follow the instructions carefully, the app will work with the Smanos system. HOWEVER, there is currently no way to have multiple users control the alarms.
Very Limited
Limited, with a sluggish and dated interface. Would like to see an update that delivers modern features like geofencing to automatically arm / disarm when I leave the house. Also, a panic button built into the app, so the alarm can be remotely triggered would be handy.
