What is the "Wa-calculator"? The "Wa-calculator" is a calculator that can show calculation results in Japanese-style kanji, or Chinese ideograms. Although such calculators are not widely used in Japan, the application offers the novel experience of calculating with kanji. Overview • Both normal and kanji modes are possible. • Because a simplified calculation method is used, the result of 2 +3 × 4 will be 20, and not 14, as according to the rules of equation. • Decimal points cannot be used. (Decimal points and the number of digits after decimal points are shown in normal mode.) • Only integers, or numbers before the decimal point, are shown in kanji mode. • Up to nine digits can be entered. • The display will show "Error" if the integer part of the calculation exceeds 10 digits.
