Doesn’t connect
Been wasting $2 a month and unable to connect. I try for 30 min then give up for another month. Log in and it says No Vehicle Linked to this Account. Would absolutely love it to work but this shouldn’t be so hard.

Does not work. Logged in with Rivian credential and it shows no vehicle in the account. They are trying to get your Rivian credential. Scam.
Works for me
It took me a little bit to get this connected but once I did it’s worked near flawlessly. Battery widget doesn’t update very frequently but maybe it would if I used this as my main key? I don’t. I just wanted a backup of I went running without my other device’s and this seems to fit that bill.
PSA for those saying they can’t redownload… go to the App Store on your watch to get it. That’s not a dev issue, it’s Apple wanting you to use the watchOS App Store for apps like this that don’t have an iOS counterpart. I set up my new Apple Watch from scratch and did it just this way.

Can’t sign in
The app gives me a sign in error when attempting to set up even though my login information has been verified and carefully entered correctly. There doesn’t appear to be any support.

Pain to login then doesn’t seem to want to connect to my vehicle. Deleted within 5 mins.

Only locks/unlocks; convenient when it works
Really convenient when you don’t want to carry your phone, eg driving to a park and then going on a run with just your apple watch (phone locked in car). Helpful hints:
1. Can download only from watch; can’t download from iPhone, not even in the phone watch app.
2. Connectivity issues solved by deleting not only the app from watch but also deleting Apple Watch as a key using the Rivian app on phone. Wouldn’t connect no matter how many times I deleted the app from watch and logging back in. Worked immediately after I deleted the watch as an existing key.

Sympathetic to the developer - but I did pay a yearly subscription for an app that stopped working after 6 months
Wont Redownload after failing
I downloaded this app three months ago when I got my Rivian. It worked great. But one day it wasn’t connecting so I read that I should delete the app and then re-download it. The problem is, when you go into the App Store, it says “purchased” and won’t allow you to re-download it. So I’m hoping they fix this issue because it’s nice to have it on your Apple Watch.

Login doesn’t support 2FA
I tried the app and it won’t accept my login and password. This same login and password works for my Rivian app and their website, which required a two-factor authentication code via email, but WaaKey just fails to login and doesn’t give an opportunity for a 2FA code. I’m assuming the devs either need to do an update or Rivian changed something that makes this app no longer compatible.

Installed, logged in to Rivian account, then “No vehicles linked to account.” Unusable.
No support for a good app
I really like the app but there is no way to get support unless you use Apple’s problem reporting facility. The developer website is barebones and doesn’t have a contact us section short of a broken “Get In Touch” button on a Hardware Notifier page and a privacy policy email link which seems limited to privacy policy issues “If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at:” and goes to a different domain.
The reason I want support is that I have a question about assigning the app to launch with the Action Button on an Ultra via a Shortcut since Shortcuts need to be created on an iPhone and as a watch-only app there doesn’t appear to be a way to add it to a phone shortcut which can also be made available on the watch.

What Happened?
I have been using this app for close to a year and it quit working. Uninstalled it and it won't let me reinstall it?
Terrible
Paid for this app (in 2024) to use on my Apple Watch and for some reason I can’t find the app on my watch nor get help from support to reinstall this on my watch. I’m beginning to think I got ripped off. The App Store says it’s purchased but cannot find it anywhere on my phone and watch.
