About

Wabe is a small, pixel-art notebook for your beehives — the kind of tool that fits in your bag next to the smoker. No accounts. No cloud. No tracking. Every entry stays on your phone, where it belongs. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Log inspections with a clean, beekeeper-shaped flow — temperament, queen sightings, varroa count, notes. • Tap each frame on a pixel-art comb to mark: open brood, capped brood, eggs, honey, pollen, queen cell, drone frame, foundation, starter strip, or empty drawn comb. Multi-select where it matters. • Attach a photo and the current weather (one tap, fetched live from open-meteo). • Keep an honest hive history — first inspection to latest, with the inspections you actually wrote, not summaries. • Export a single hive — or an entire apiary — as a clean PDF (15 languages, with proper beekeeping terminology). • Get gentle, opt-in reminders: drone-frame timer (19 days), inspection overdue per season, and a "one year ago today" recap with the photo from that day. WHY PIXEL ART Beekeeping is slow, hands-on, and detailed. A pixel-art comb you can tap, frame by frame, mirrors what you actually do at the hive — without pretending to be photorealistic. It's tactile, it's quick to read, and the brood patterns look like brood patterns. LOCAL-FIRST, BY DESIGN Wabe runs entirely on your phone. There is no Wabe server. There is no Wabe account. There is no analytics SDK. The only network call is to fetch weather from open-meteo when you create an inspection — and only if you allow location access. Your data stays where you put it. You can export it (PDF + ZIP backup) any time. There is no lock-in. LANGUAGES English, Deutsch, Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Polski, Čeština, Español, Português, Türkçe, Română, Magyar, Slovenčina, Русский, العربية (with full RTL support). WHO IT'S FOR Beekeepers — beginners or seasoned — who like a calm tool that respects their attention and their data. If you've been keeping notes in a paper book, on the back of an envelope, or in a spreadsheet that's getting unwieldy, Wabe is meant to feel like the next step. It's not built to make beekeeping faster. It's built to make remembering what you saw easier, so next spring's decisions are sharper.

• NFC tags: stick a tag on a hive, link it in the app — at the apiary, tap your phone to it and you're right at that hive's records. • Apiary overview reworked: status right on the hive, filter by "Due" and "Warning". • Inspection history now as cards with photo preview and status at a glance. • Hive tiles show the latest inspection photo. • Notifications on iOS more reliable.
