Simply the best
Been listening to WABE since I was a child (35yrs old now). Such a trusted source of fact based reporting about our state of Georgia and beyond to the USA and internationally. Tons of great programs, shout out Rose Scott on Closer Look and long reign Lois Reitzes.
WABE delivers great reporting
I love the quick access to news, Closer Look. If I miss it on the radio it’s right here.
Good App, Busy Interface
This is a good app but they keep loading it with visual clutter. I wish they would return to a cleaner interface.
Love the classical feed
The best choice for classical radio. Lots of variety. Listen to news and podcasts too of course, but use app for the music!

The ads on restart… oy vey
Updated app is nice and the auto ads don’t trigger as much but they still happen. Devs, when the iPhone 15 switches from WiFi to cell, ads restart.
Easy transition
It’s easy to transition from the car radio to the app instead of sitting in the car in the garage to finish listening to a broadcast. 😉
Great upgrade
I’m really happy with the most recent upgrades — it’s easier to find relevant content and happenings around the city. WABE has so much to offer — I can not do without 90.1 and the app is how so listen nowadays.
Very happy with this app
Just got this app and it’s perfect. As a long time listener of WABE, I am really loving the quick access to live stream radio anytime. All the NPR pods are right there. The interface is really straight forward. I’ve learned a lot about everything WABE has to offer that I didn’t know about. Buried Truth’s and several other really good podcasts.

Love WABE, App Needs Work
This app is incredibly unstable. It crashes frequently and often gets into a loop of playing the exact same commercials over and over when opening the app. You have to close it and restart, sometimes more than once. Another glitch is that the rewind functionality displays but never works any more. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Sorry, WABE, still a big fan of the station, just not the app!

App was fine for years. Recent update does not play. Please fix. Will delete for now.
3 minutes of commercials before you hear anything
Good God. For a “non-commercial “ radio station, you have to listen to MULTIPLE commercials before you can hear programming.
Terribly glitchy!!!
Extremely disappointed with this new version. Takes forever to load ( it’s not my wifi) cuts off unexpectedly, glitches everywhere. Awful.
Ver. 4.5.39.1 hangs
I recently downloaded 4.5.39.1 and now it hangs when I hit the listen live button. It gets part way and just stops. I have to relaunch more than once to get it to start. Previous version I had (don’t know the number) did not have this issue.

Ever since the app updated, all I get is advertisements. It never goes to the radio stream. I have stopped using it and stream from the website. Please fix this issue.
