Ads play as soon as you open the app.
Having to watch an ad every time I open the app is a real put off. I’ll get my news elsewhere.

I can’t open any of the links you provide. I can’t even open a news article in your app. I am on an iPad. This is the only app that does this.

The app continually fails to open for viewing. No filters on device that would prohibit opening of app for viewing. Evidently negative reviews are blocked from public view. Entering a review will not be allowed.

The news app is fine, but is it possible to not have ads for dating sites after every story that I click on? It’s a bit much.

Worst of the local news apps
The morning news anchor interrupts her co-anchor and the meteorologist constantly. I can't believe she's been allowed to continue this annoying disregard for others for years.
Good app, don't like the new change
The app is good in that it is simple to use and covers the local news and events of the day. however I do not like the new change where it makes you view an ad for 5 seconds or more when launched before you can use the app. please remove this and go back to just having side ads mixed in on the app pages.

Lots of bugs
This thing has lots of bugs, weather app has not worked for almost 6 months shows an error which is likely related to the noaa api.
Also as of lately when you read an article the adds are not placed properly so they go under the text, that prevents you from being able to read the article and it also prevents you from clicking on the ad, kind of a lose lose situation user loses and the advertisers

Can’t Get Past Ads
Can’t see the news due to ads blocking the way with no option to close unwanted advertisements. :(
Pleasant to use, but horrible 3rd party clickbait
The app covers the basics and lets me catch up on some news and weather, pulling data from their website. Many “ articles “ are just a couple lines, but fair enough. No bugs yet in this version of the app. ........ I down rate it because everything you look at is saddled with 3rd party social up-worthy clickbait “recommended” junk looking identical to news articles; like: some-town-name you won’t believe this startup is disrupting a 200 billion dollar industry. .... WABI, cut it out. How can you stoop so low? Totally unprofessional ... whomever implemented that should be fired. You are a news company, not some random blog. Why this 3rd party BS on every page? Several times longer than the “article” wasting everybody’s precious mobile data. Keep it professional, stick to facts and present just the news.
