A well established, underrated tool

I’ve been using Wachete for years, whether to monitor changes to information published by local and state government or by my favorite sports teams. Right now, for example, I’m using it to monitor updates to my county’s watering restrictions during a drought.

It’s always been reliable and does a great job of balancing ease of use with very powerful and accessible code.

Great service - competes with the best

Had wachete for years now, never used the app but works as promised. The service is great and competes with the best of them on a freemium level. Thanks!

Useful but basic improvement needed

Been using the website to monitor pages for jobs — very useful!— and I have just installed the app. Unfortunately the app will not let me paste a url and I have to type it, which is a little inconvenient and leads me to prefer using the website to create new wachets.

Great for monitoring webpages! And even JSON APIs!

Super impressed with this service. Was the only one I found that could monitor changing JSON content. Good support also.

Accomplishes its simple task flawlessly.

The entire reason for this app is to deliver push notifications to your phone whenever changes appear on the web pages that you are monitoring. The webpage monitoring is set up using a web based interface (easy to use), not through the app. Once you download this app and link it to the webpage monitoring, you receive push notifications on your phone as soon as changes are detected on the monitored websites. You can check monitored webpages once every 24 hours for free, or more frequently for a subscription fee. In my experience, this app does a great job of notifying you when changes occur.

Google sign-in problem

Like the app but it seems signing in with a Google account is not possible anymore: "Error: disallowed_useragent - This user-agent is not permitted to make an OAuth authorization request to Google as it is classified as an embedded user-agent (also known as a web-view). Per our policy, only browsers are permitted to make authorization requests to Google"
