Improved with recent update
EDIT: The recent app update addresses my issues, so far. It’s much easier to change settings, including the default resolution for downloading image data, and I haven’t had to force quit the app yet. The developer promises that other needed improvements to navigation are on the way – I’m looking forward to seeing them.
The concept was good, but the execution has been poor. Several times, the app displayed nothing, which the developer attributed to a licensing issue that they claimed was corrected. Still, it’s recurred several times.
Worse yet, the app often gets into a state where the only way to display the UI is to force quit it.
The developer seemed interested and promised improvements, but as far as I can tell, they haven’t been implemented. For example, navigation remains frustrating, and the resolution hasn’t changed.

Sorry for the inconvenience, im aware of the issue and now its fixed in next update(1.5) coming in 1-2 days, waiting for approval. Resolution update is live you can change the resolution in settings for higher resolution, enjoy! Also for the navigation, im working on it and its almost complete! Next week it will be live too. I also added some new gestures, hope you like it. Thanks for your patience
Needs to get better
The actual street view is pretty fun to use when it works correctly. The big drawback here is that you have to use the map window in order to navigate. There’s no way to interact with the street view image to move forward or pan. when you select a new location on the map it doesn’t keep your orientation, which is jarring. I wish they would add support for the PlayStation vr controllers.

Not worth it
I purchased this app and attempted to use it. The resolution is very poor quality. There are cities that it does not even navigate to. I uninstalled this app after using it for five minutes. Not worth the money they are asking for.
Excellent app
This is a great use for the AVP. I absolutely love it. Navigation needs a little attention. Would love to walk around. Maybe with controller support. Also ability to add custom names to the bookmarks would be awesome.
Simply amazing!
I’ve been wishing for something like this: an immersive Google Maps that is only going to get even better with future versions. In addition to ease of use and the immersive 360 degree views, it’s so simple to switch locations within the same area with simple taps or pinches on the map, or to teleport from one new location to the next. There’s also a nice zoom function on the map as well. Worth every penny!

Won’t go into street view. So far waste of money.
Extremely difficult to navigate. Buggy.
Orientation keeps resetting. Controls interfere with immersive experience. App needs a lot more polishing to even begin to justify price. App desperately needs PSVR controller support.
Good Start!
Looking forward to the proposed improvements to navigation and increased resolution. Currently, changing location in map view is working pretty well, but moving along the street needs much improvement. Fair pricing, assuming the developer continues to add features to this very new app. It would be nice to optionally use the (limited) Apple Maps data since it can be very high-res compared to Google, but not sure if this is practical. Had a couple glitches: In one location I had a huge vertical black bar obscuring center view, then couldn’t save a favorite with unique name. Literally only spent 10 minutes with the app before writing this, but looking forward to using it in future.
