What's New in Wage Watch
1.1
July 14, 2026
New Features: Semi-Monthly Pay Periods: You can now fully customize your pay periods with our new Semi-Monthly tracking option. Select your exact anchor days for both halves of the month. Precision vs. Quick Modes: We’ve introduced a new toggle in Settings for W-2 earners. Use "Quick Setup" for fast estimates, or switch to "Precision Mode" to input exact paystub data (gross pay, taxes, deductions, and hours) to calculate your true net hourly rate. Bonus Tracking: Precision Mode now includes an optional "Bonuses" field. You can now input one-time bonuses without artificially inflating your calculated everyday hourly rate. Improvements & Bug Fixes: Dynamic UI: Input fields in Settings now highlight dynamically when active, making it easier to see exactly what you are editing. Live Activity Stability: Fixed an issue where the Live Activity tracker would occasionally duplicate and appear twice on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island when backgrounding the app. Smarter Date Math: Improved calendar calculations so edge-case months (like February or 31-day months) handle custom pay period dates flawlessly without crashing. State Management: Fixed a conflict where switching tracking modes could cause old data to skew your earnings. Unused variables are now cleanly cleared in the background.
