About

Waggle is the family allowance app that pays kids in promises, not payments. Parents create activities, kids check them off, and every payday the kids themselves split their earnings across three honeycomb jars - Checking, Savings, and Giving. No bank account. No debit card. No real money in the app, ever. Waggle is a shared family ledger of promises between you and your kids, so the money lessons are real even though the money stays in your pocket. FOR PARENTS - Set up chores and activities with values and schedules; activities are once-per-day unless you say otherwise - Approve what kids claim - money only exists after your OK - Run Payday together: kids pour their own earnings into the jars - Pay weekly interest on Savings, from realistic bank rates to teaching rates kids can feel - Match money your kid moves into Giving, like an employer 401(k) match - Optional payday advances teach borrowing, with a fee and automatic payback - Pay for quality, if a chore is half done teach your kids that quality matters - Encourage kids to do the chore the first time - fewer reminders equates to better pay days - Every movement lives in an append-only family ledger built to win balance arguments FOR KIDS - A honeycomb home with jars to tap, fill, and move honey between - Goals with projected achievement dates at their current pace - Growth charts that show saving, giving, and interest actually working - Bite-size money lessons that unlock features like borrowing - Kid mode is PIN-gated - kids never get accounts, logins, or emails Waggle balances are promises between you and your family, not real deposits. Waggle is not a bank. Waggle Plus is optional. Waggle Forever is a one-time purchase of $49.99. Waggle Plus Monthly is $4.99 per month and renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. What's New in Waggle

1.0.2

August 23, 2026

Waggle runs full-size on iPad. Every screen is laid out for the bigger display, so the family tablet on the kitchen counter finally looks like it belongs there. Face ID sign-in - unlock Waggle with a look instead of a password, and put parent mode behind it so a curious kid can't quietly adjust their own balance. Family device lock - step-by-step setup for Guided Access, plus a badge in kid mode that tells you the device really is locked before you hand it over. Honey Drops - reward something outside the weekly chores. "Grab that and you've earned two drops." You grant them, or your kid claims them and you give the OK. Also fixed: a problem where the app could install but not open on older iPhones, and the "Can't reach the hive" screen now retries on its own instead of asking you to close and reopen.
