Wakayama is home to many cultural heritage sites and a rich landscape. We have created a new app with built-in audio guidance, so that you can better enjoy the appeals of the area.
There are two main audio guides for you to enjoy with the Wakayama City Tourism app:
Tomogashima, to which we have added Katsuragi Shugen (Japanese mountain asceticism incorporating Shinto and Buddhist concepts), which is currently gaining popularity after having been recognized as a Japanese heritage.
Wakayama Castle, where you can enjoy the history of the castle through stories.
