About

Wake blocks the apps you spend too much time in. And you can't unlock them yourself. You decide what gets blocked. Social media, games, news, streaming, messaging. While the block is running, you can't switch it off or change the list. There's only one way out: walk over to your Wake and hold your phone against it. Your Wake sits wherever you put it, far enough away that you can't reach it from the sofa. That's the whole point. You have to get up before you can keep scrolling. HOW IT WORKS Pick your apps. Start the block. Put your phone down. When you want back in, you go to your Wake. ROUTINES THAT RUN THEMSELVES Set fixed hours where your apps stay blocked. 9 to 5 on weekdays. 10pm to 7:30am every night. The routine starts on its own, so you don't have to remember it every day. WHEN YOUR WAKE ISN'T WITHIN REACH You get 3 skips to start with. A skip unlocks your apps without your Wake, for when you've left it at home or you're somewhere you really need to get in. If you run out, you can buy more in the app. YOUR SCREEN TIME, DAY BY DAY See how long you've been on your phone, how many times you picked it up, how many notifications came in, and which apps take up the most. Keep your streak alive. AN ALARM YOU CAN'T SNOOZE Wake is your alarm clock too. It doesn't stop until you're standing at your Wake. No snooze, no deals with yourself about five more minutes. Choose from 40 alarm sounds, from the calm ones to the ones that won't let you stay in bed. And you can keep your apps blocked until you're up. YOU NEED A WAKE The app works together with Wake, a small device you place somewhere in your home. You can buy it at wakealarm.dk. There's no subscription. You pay for your Wake once and use the app for as long as you want. Skips are available as in-app purchases. Wake uses Screen Time to block apps. Your data stays on your phone.
