Edited Review

I bought this app in July 2025 but kept losing access. The developer fixed this problem but it soon happened again. So to their credit they did the right thing and refunded my money with no hassle. Now in March 2026 the problem is said to have been fixed, but since I already took my Japan trip 4 months ago I really have no need for it now. But TBH I am not impressed by the content of the app from when I was able to access it. Anybody who has seen Sayuka’s videos is undoubtedly charmed by her and appreciates her terrific lessons on the Japanese language. But looking back on some of the advice I saw in this app I think it doesn’t offer much insight that a regular tour book offers, and provides much less information than what you would get from one of the many tip-based walking tours of Tokyo. Moreover, what she claims to be inside tips on great establishments to patronize seemed to me like paid commercials — they go on in great and unnecessary detail and are just too glowing. Maybe they are genuine and not paid for but those tips would be more convincing if she didn’t devote that amount of time to them.

I keep losing access to the yours

I ordered this in February and immediately lost access. After a few days of trying they were able to restore it for me but once again it is gone. Contacted Support more than a week ago. They said they are going to try to fix the problem again but have not heard back.

Response from developer
