With our ‘Walk with Wari’ app, you will be participating in Pandharpur Wari Virtually and will be walking the same distance on the same number of days, but from the comfort of their familiar surroundings, wherever they may reside. It has been estimated that the distance of 258 km equals to 3,40,000 steps. Starting on the 20th of June and ending on Ashadi Ekadashi day on the 10th of July, participants will be expected to walk the steps in 17 days ( with 4 rest days ) so as to closely follow the path and distance taken by the Warkaris in their on-ground pilgrimage. Our app is providing a replicate of Pandharpur Wari on a virtual mobile app and hopes to further propagate and amplify the devotion towards Lord Vithoba and Rakhumai, especially among the younger generations.
