My clients love this app!

This app is genuinely one of the best tools a pet owner can have alongside a pet sitter.
It keeps you fully in the loop with updates on how your pet is doing, including personalised notes, photos, and even GPS tracking for walks. It covers pretty much everything you’d want as an owner, all in one place.
As someone with pets myself, I know how stressful it can be leaving them with someone new. This app makes the whole experience feel a lot more reassuring and transparent. Honestly, it’s spot on 💙

Downloading

Having a problem opening the app after downloading. I have an iPhone 11 and I also have the Walkies petsitter app. I like to make a fake profile just to see what my clients see. But the client app won’t load at all. It worked two weeks ago but now not at all. I also had a client say she wasn’t getting notifications from the app either.

Hi there, sorry to hear this, if you can reach out to support I can look into getting this fixed. Often VPNs or ad blockers can stop the connect link from working.

Amazing

Julia is beyond amazing w my boy Charlie !! I couldn’t have expected such great treatment to my boy !! She sends me so many pictures and such detailed notes on his walk !! All his pictures he’s smiling and he’s so excited to see her !! I love that he’s so happy being w her I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs care for their pets !!

Best dog walker ever!

Chelsea is so dependable and did everything she said she would do and beyond. It is a rarity to find someone to trust in your home and with our babies but Chelse has earned our trust. Chelsea will be our dog walker into the future as long as she will have us. 5 star service all the way!

Love but needs a bug fix

Great app

I love this app, easy to use for booking and viewing activity. One suggestion I have is the option to use a ‘like’ or emoji etc to respond to our dog walkers pictures and daily updates.

Thank you so much for the great review 🙂. Being able to react to pictures, videos, and more is on the todo list. It will probably be added once I have completed the Android apps and new website. Please contact me in app via support in settings if you have anymore ideas. 🙂

Features would be great if they were usable

Users can submit walk requests without filling out required information for the walker such as time and date, leading to near constant mistakes. This is because the UI uses a segmented control for the form, indicating no additional information is necessary (as a segmented control indicates options to a user). When requests are submitted, you can’t view them without knowing to refresh the page. There’s no clear indication as to whether you can have multiple walkers (as if often the case). The features would be awesome if they were usable. Feels like an app built by a developer with little to no design or user input, making it largely unusable.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I think you make a lot of very good points. After receiving your feedback I have made the appointment booking page just one form, no more segmented control, and it should also show you your requested appointment without having to reload the page. The app currently only allows you to be connected to one pet sitter / pet siting team as this is by far the majority case but I do want to allow multi pet sitter / team connect in the future but it’s not an easy thing to build. In the future I also want to add the ability to select a preferred sitter when booking. 🙂 I also made a huge host of other improvements to make the app easier to use and more beautiful.

Won’t load

The only time this app has loaded is when I first downloaded it. It wouldn’t let me sign in so I waited a while and closed the app. I reopened it and it loaded for minutes on end and still, nothing. I’ve tried deleting it and redownloading it, restarting my phone and nothing. I’m not sure if this is a recent problem but I just wanted to point it out.

Great functionality, UX and incredible customer service

I downloaded this app easily after my dog walker sent me a link. The journal’s great, it allows me to see information and photos from my dog’s walk. Invoices are available through the app, which is hugely helpful. When I needed to contact Customer Support, Rob got back to me immediately and solved my issue in minutes. I definitely recommend downloading.

Love it and Love Love Love the customer service

What a great app!! I recently hired a new dog walker and she uses the Walkies app to track my pup’s walk, send me a report and even photos of my pet via a text message URL. It keeps me from having to ask her a million questions because everything is right there. The Journal app now allows me to see all of my pup’s report in one place and even get push, text and/or email notifications when the walk has begun and when the new report is available. But what really sold me on the app was their customer service. When I was struggling to connect my account to my dog walker, I had almost immediate IM support throughout the app. Even as I closed the app and restarted to try and resolve the issue, my help conversation remained. I didn’t have to start all over again. You can tell that these developers are truly passionate about the app they have created and me and my pup are much happier because of it. If I ever have to hire a new dog walker, I’ll be looking for someone who uses this app as well.
