Untrustworthy
I wanted to love this app — the concept is exactly what dog owners need. But the algorithm has serious problems that make me unable to trust it.
The Now screen and Hourly screen give contradictory safety ratings for the same conditions. At 9 PM, the Now tab said 79°F (feels 84°) was "potentially life-threatening" for my dog, while the Hourly tab said 83° and 87° were "nothing to worry about." Those can't both be right.
The bigger issue is there's no gradient between green and red. It's either "have fun outside" or "potentially life-threatening" with nothing in between. One hour it's green, the next it's red. There's no caution zone, no "keep it short and bring water" middle ground. That's the exact situation I downloaded this app for — the days that feel fine to me but are pushing it for my dog. Without an in-between state, the ratings feel arbitrary and I can't make good decisions from them.
I was a premium subscriber but I'm canceling. The idea is great, the execution needs a lot of work on the underlying algorithm before I'd trust it with my dog's safety.

Not clear or working
This seems to be the only app I can find for the information I am looking for, but I can’t get the right information. I have a pit bull/retriever mix medium-large sized and I can’t change or represent her properly in the app. I keep trying to put it to medium but it’s stuck on small. The breed options are weird. I don’t fully understand the information. I’m confused greatly by why I can’t fix this easily.

30° is not ok for a puppy
I like the idea of this app and the layout was appealing etc.
Unfortunately I found it to be completely inaccurate when it comes to dog safety. Telling me that my 17 week old puppy ‘should be ok’ in 30° heat is utter nonsense.
I would like to point out that all my settings were correct. But even if they weren’t, there is no dog on earth that would be safe walking in 30° heat…. Regardless of age, breed, weight, long nose, short nose etc…
30° is DANGEROUS and therefore I feel the app could be misleading.
Inaccurate advice which could cost someone the health/life of their dog and which would also cause burnt paw pads and dehydration very quickly.
I would suggest using common sense, rather than this app.

A need for pet owners
I’ve been looking for an app like this for awhile now as I never want to burn my pups feet.
I just wish we could specify the breed/coat color. I have a black lab, so I know she gets warmer than say a short coat white dog. Would be an amazing feature to have
