Real art made by real humans

The artists at Iconfactory are truly special. Every week you get a new wallpaper created by a real human and not some AI slop. The wallpapers span many different interests and there’s something for everyone in the collection. I highly recommend the reasonably priced subscription to access the complete collection of art. Thanks again Iconfactory for being such an amazing development company. I’ve been using your apps for a long time.

“Great wallpapers, every week”? - Won’t happen. I’ve been using this lovely app for a month and have not yet seen a new wallpaper come in. Otherwise, great app, great design, great concept.

Wonderful wallpapers at an excellent price

I’ve never spent money on a wallpaper app before, but Wallaroo is different. This is such a brilliant collection of art optimised for all screen sizes and often with home/Lock Screen variants too. Continually updated at a totally reasonable price for human artists. Thank you!

Amazing creative wallpapers

Iconfactory’s creativity shines bright with every week’s release. My favorite part is that many wallpapers include variants that are just the background or a simplified version of the primary art that becomes suitable for display behind Home Screen icons without having to use the blur feature.

Terrific collection of custom wallpapers with new ones added each week. These aren’t AI generated; they are created by talented actual artists. Each wallpaper is available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Well worth the price of you want great wallpapers.

Can't even see what is available without paying a monthly fee

Don't get this expecting to be able to find wallpapers unless you want to take a blind jump and pay without knowing what is available.

I Love this App

Every week, a new wallpaper is added, often with alternate designs. Also, each wallpaper has several variations for different device sizes. The designs aren’t lazy. They’re high-end, meticulous, and downright enjoyable.

Nice wallpapers and app

I enjoy a lot of the wallpapers but simply using the app is nice. I love the scroll effect. Little touches like that make it a joy. 👍

This app doesn’t work

Click to set wallpaper. Install shortcut. Allow it to set the wallpaper. Go look: wallpaper isn’t any different. Sometimes have it reinstall the shortcut over the copy that’s currently there. Still no change to wallpaper.

Could it be that the Focus setting – which allows different wallpapers for different Focuses – is flummoxing your app? Seems like it. But, as a developer, making your product work with common settings is your problem, not mine. It’s literally what I’m paying you two bucks a month to do. Except you’re not doing it.

Let me know if you get this fixed. Until then, I’m unsubscribing.

The most likely reason you are having trouble is that your device is currently set to use one of the "special" kinds of wallpapers that Apple ships with iOS including People, Photo Shuffle, Live Photos, Weather, Astronomy or even the solid color wallpapers. If your device is currently set to any of these wallpaper types, Wallaroo's shortcut cannot override it and set the wallpaper correctly. Begin by setting your device to use a standard Photos wallpaper using these steps: 1. Lock your iPhone/iPad and tap it to wake. 2. Force press the screen to enter the wallpaper picker interface 3. Scroll right to a new, EMPTY wallpaper slot and press the + button. 4. Tap "Photos" from the list of choices at the top of the screen and select any image in your camera roll. Tap "Add" then Set as Wallpaper Pair and confirm the new wallpaper as your choice. Once your device is set to use any standard photo like the one you just created, Wallaroo's shortcut will be able to then set the Home, Lock or both wallpapers simultaneously. Hope this helps!
