What's New in WalletWise Personal Finances

1.10.0

July 24, 2026

Added - Opening Balance — Set a Planning’s starting cash in onboarding, create, and edit. Non-zero amounts show on the timeline as a projected “initial balance” row (not a Transaction), and feed Current / Expected / end-of-week balances. - Home Screen Quick Actions — Long-press the app icon to jump straight into adding an expense, income, or credit card purchase. - Edit credit card purchases — Correct amount, installment count, and schedule. Paid installments stay frozen; remaining amounts redistribute across unpaid ones. - Per-planning notification mutes — Mute reminders for specific Plannings in Settings. Changed - Profile & Settings — Profile is a single scrolling sectioned hub; notification controls live in Settings. - Onboarding for existing web users — If a Planning already has Transactions, currency and Opening Balance steps are skipped. - Balance refresh — Current and end-of-week totals refresh from the current period. Fixed - Weekly Insights counted invoice bill rows instead of individual credit card purchases; totals now match category spend. - End-of-week balance fell back to a placeholder when the cached value was missing; it now uses Current Balance. - Category picker could stay empty after a failed startup fetch; categories reload when add-transaction opens. - Dashboard horizontal padding.
