About

Quiet art that comes to life when you wake your iPhone or iPad. Wallfold is a small gallery of wallpapers made like prints, not screensavers: fine lines, soft gradients, glass, halftones and folded light, layered at real depths and drawn live on your iPhone or iPad. Every piece has a move of its own. Echo's rings ripple out of the camera, Lintel's neon bars strike one by one, Tiers' cards dip in turn, Glow's beans hop. Pick a piece, tap Set as wallpaper, and choose: • Live: a Live Photo for your Lock Screen. Wake your iPhone or iPad and the piece plays its move, then settles. • Still: a sharp picture for any screen, at your iPhone's exact size or, on iPad, square so it fills the screen either way up. On iOS 26, try it on iPhone as a Spatial Scene. Then set it from your Lock Screen: touch and hold, tap +, then Photos. Wallfold walks you through it. THE COLLECTION Forty-three pieces, each in two colourways, all dark-first so they sit quietly behind the clock: • Strata, Dune and Drift: sheets of fine lines folding over each other • Reeded and Vitrine: light through fluted glass • Twist, Saffron and Ribbon: ribbons turning over, bands fanned out and braided • Haze, Mist and Afterglow: soft, out-of-focus gradients • Lintel, Echo and Vesper: bars of blue neon, rings rippling out from the camera, tubes of sea-green light • Switchback and Hall: a bundle of lines turning back on itself, a floor and ceiling running on into the dark • Obsidian: a black slab in real 3D, lit red from behind • Gatefold: one dusk, folded twice • Moiré: two combs of stripes sliding through each other • Tiers: steps of blue going down into the dark • Dawn: beams of every colour rising through reeded glass • Sheet and Backlit: dark glass edged in warm light and cool • Bevel: iridescent colour poured behind ribs of glass • Poster: black, white and one red ring • Glow: soft beans of colour glowing in the dark • Orbit, Prism and Bubbles: glass spheres, a liquid sphere and three soap bubbles • Aurora, Riso and Graticule: northern lights, two halftone inks and a drafting grid …and more. DRAWN, NOT FILMED Every piece is drawn by the graphics chip in your iPhone or iPad at your screen's own resolution, not stretched from a video, so it's sharp from edge to edge. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR DEVICE No account, no ads, no tracking, no internet access. Wallfold asks for one thing, the first time you save: permission to add to your photo library. It can put new pictures in, never see what's already there. Live Photos move on the Lock Screen from iOS 17 and iPadOS 17. Stills work on any iPhone or iPad. Made by Nashtendo · nashtendo.pro
