This app is literally the best no joke. There’s so many wallpaper options you can get without using ur money. Definitely recommend it. There’s also a bunch of options without using money or watch ads! Love it

I’ve been trying to use the image-creation feature in Walli, but for the last two days I keep getting a message that says “our service has heavy traffic, try again later.”
I’m using an iPad, and I’ve already tried restarting the app, restarting my device, switching Wi-Fi/data, and updating the app.
The error still appears every time I try to create an image.
Is this a known issue right now? Is there anything else I can try, or can you fix this on your side?

Exactly what I wanted, but a few minor issues
I think this app is great! It was exactly what I was looking for, but there are a few annoying things. Firstly, every time I try to use the ai generator it says there is an error and to try again later. This is super annoying because I just want to make a background! Secondly you have to pay to unlock all the backgrounds which is something a lot of apps make you do so I was kind of expecting it, but I still find it irritating. It has heaps of background options though and the live ones are cool! I will definitely use this app in the future. I think it is awesome! I highly recommend getting it if you’re looking for aesthetic backgrounds or live backgrounds or any beautiful backgrounds. It could definitely do with some improvement, but it is great.

Paywalls and AI slop
As with everything in the modern era, the entire business model is based around subscriptions that they hope you forget about and AI slip that no one asked for or cares about.
Used to be a quality resource, but the pool has been diluted with slop and you’d be better off trawling Reddit for wallpapers instead.

This app is made by people who aren’t too greedy, but still make sure that they make a profit.
The wallpapers are really good, there are many options, and the fact that there is a search bar is very nice.
There is a free version which I really appreciate, and the ads are few and short.
Overall really good app, finally I have a wallpaper that I like!

Never new content
There are nice images and interesting categories (the religion one needs to go because the world has enough problems without religion-caused problems), but there are never new images. It’s curious there are “new” and “recent” options since it’s just a rotating collection of the same things. The AI feature is neat, but ultimately AI art looks like AI and images are mostly very much alike. The app only works in portrait mode, so that’s occasionally a bummer – paid apps should be more functional. The pricing options are also all over the place with no distinction between the tiers and price differences. While nice for a while, one soon learns there’s not much here and never, ever anything new. I’ve marked this for non-renewal. I’d deleted it because it was stale, re-added months later, and the “new” images are not new at all.

The AI generator does not work
So I was really excited when I saw this app that I got it. So first I looked at the ai generator
And I put in what I wanted to put for the description and sent it. It said the server was busy so I tried 30 minutes later and this time the pictures were just black!! Like what. I kept trying. It did not work. This is why I think this app is not worth 5 stars.

Very unique , very creative this is the first time I ever reviewed an app so it should speak volumes
Used to be my favourite app
Not anymore. They show 120 second ads now. I used to download so many wallpapers from here, but now they're trying to weed out the non paying users by messing up their complete experience. i don't want to pay for wallpapers, maybe the developer should have realised that other than a very small group of people, no-one's stupid enough to pay for images even if there's an artist behind it.

Going Downhill
I remember when I got into this app years ago, maybe 2018 or so. It was marketed as being a less generic service, with every wallpaper being created by an independent artist. It was a way to escape the endlessly reposted stock images and boring people-pleaser stuff.
Now it’s the very thing it was trying not to be. Some of the independent art is still there, the unique photography included. But it is buried under heaps and heaps of AI garbage, with no way to filter it out.
After these years, I will no longer be keeping this app on my phone. I’m terribly disappointed.
