Importing your dance list is much better. - Long lists now finish. Paste a whole year of notes and it comes back. - The review puts what needs your attention first: dances to double-check, dates or venues we couldn't match, then everything that matched. - Use the pencil on any dance to search our catalog and pick the right match yourself. - Nights that still need a date or a bar are listed first, and each one shows what your note said about where you were. We also made Recap cards download faster and fixed a few other minor bugs.

Fun and beautiful

The developer clearly knows her stuff. Learning to dance is much more fun and intentional now. The interface is beautiful and helpful! Make more apps!

So helpful for beginners just starting out

I started dancing about two months ago, checking out different spots and trying to learn the dances that come up most frequently so I can do my homework and show up knowing them. Asked Gemini to tell me what dances are most popular at a bar I hadn’t been to yet and it led me to walls!

I love that the app will give me a list of dances and how frequently they come up at a particular bar. It helps me know in advance what I should work on, how much I might be standing on the sidelines, and whether that bar is the right fit for me (some seem to spend half the night on pitbull dances, some skew more country). I also really like being able to look at what was logged for a particular night, so for places that have a different DJ or format different nights of the week, I can see what comes up most frequently on Wednesdays or Fridays, for example. The usefulness of this feature obviously depends on users regularly inputting data (or getting info from the DJ’s I suppose), but I’m more than happy to contribute to the data for my own benefit now and to pay it forward for the next beginners starting out.

The function for tracking dances I know and want to learn is nice too. User interface is great. I also like that it will show a summary of how long my night was, how many of the total dances I was on the floor for, etc.
