Some glitches but still awesome!
I absolutely loved the Cd-ROM version at this game when I was a child, so I’m super excited to see that it’s still available on iOS for my nieces, nephews, and future children. It’s such a fun way to explore reading and word play and it’s incredibly interactive and engaging. Music is peaceful and the story books as a whole are not so overstimulating, as many games and shows are these days. The ONLY issue I’ve seen so far is that sometimes the return/back button as the home button do not work, so I’ll have to close the app and open again, which can be frustrating. If this could be fixed, I would have absolutely nothing to complain about! Livingbooks aka Wanderful Storybooks is an incredible blessing, especially in this day and age.

It warms my heart to know that children of the current generation will be able to enjoy these timeless stories and quirky animations the same way that I did when I was young! You are doing the world a huge favour! Thank you very, very much! P.S. Could you please add the rest of the original games? The Dr Seuss ones were my favourite when I was a kid!

No Audio
Was super excited to see if my 4yo would love these as much as I did as a kid,but was incredibly disappointed to open it and find none of the audio would work! I restarted the iPad just in case,but it still not work.so sad and definitely doesn’t make me want to purchase them!

Works on the current iOS. I was introduced to this 30+ years ago. Still a great app. Can buy a collection of books, or one at a time.
Some of the books even have the stories in more than one language (especially Spanish and French)!

Amazing
Just as I remembered it from my childhood. When I was young and going to the library, these were the first games I would go to, Living Books games. They were so fun and they teach kids the importance of reading and how fun it can be.

I'd been trying to keep my super old laptop going just to run these living books for my boys and it recently crapped out on me, so this is just awesome. My five and seven year olds love these just like I did. Thank you for keeping them alive! I can't believe there aren't more like these!!

I had four living books stories in the late 1990s. They included Sheila rae the brave, Arthur's teacher trouble, Arthur's reading race and just grandma and me. They taught me different languages.

Did not know you guys created this new company name. It is a shame Cat in the hat is missing, the guys who currently publish his books are a sad joke. Still have the original cd PC version and I still love it. We need more books! I always thought those books published in 92 would be awesome if released on portable devices. When I was younger we had 'Just Grandma and Me' on the computer and it was so much fun. I would love for my son to be able to enjoy playing it also. Please make this book into an app. It would be great to make other old Living Books like Dr. Seuss's ABC, Sheila Rae the Brave, Green Eggs and Ham, Stellaluna, Arthur's Reading Race, The Cat in the Hat, Arthur's Computer Adventure, and D.W. the Picky Eater. And any other children's books would be great, they are so much fun!
