Your atlas card is your globe. The card you share from the map (the picture button, top right) now shows the same globe the app opens on, with your sky, your photo pins and your map style, and the numbers underneath: how much of the world you've seen, places, countries, continents, and a flag for each country in the order you reached them. All time, or any one year. Home is two pages now, For You and Friends. Explore is gone. Settings is the gear in the top corner of your You tab, where you'd look for it. Places built from your camera roll now know their city and country, so they count on your passport and in your country total. Ones built earlier fill themselves in over your next few launches. And a place only needs a name to save; you no longer have to invent a city for it. Also fixed on the map: the card for a tapped pin no longer sits under the + button, the country highlight stays put when you filter, a filter that matches nothing leaves the map where it was instead of flying home, a route across the Pacific crosses the Pacific, a pin that lost its photo gets it back, and search lists only places the map can show. Your passport's country count matches the map's. Messages raised inside a sheet show inside it instead of behind it. A backup restore no longer labels places "Unknown country".
