Dismiss without consequence. • Prayer times — calculated for your location, with the call to prayer for each waqt. Defaults to the most globally-used method (Muslim World League); editable in Settings. • Qibla — a compass that finds the direction of the Ka'bah from wherever you are. • Quran — read or listen to the entire Mushaf with recitation by Mishary Al-Afasy and other reciters. Pick a continuous Khatm pace (30 days, 60, 90, a year, or self-paced), or sit with curated themes — Patience through hardship, The mercy of Allah, The night and the quiet hours, fifty more. • Snippets — choose how long you'd like to sit (5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes). The app offers three short passages that fit. Read time stays small enough to leave room for pondering. • Journey — a weekly mirror of effort, grounded in the Sunnah. One observation of what's been steady, one of what's had friction, one invitation to grow next. Every line is anchored in a hadith from Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, or Tirmidhi. • Friday — on the master of days, the app gently surfaces Surat al-Kahf and the hour of accepted du'a before Maghrib. THE VOICE Waqt's voice rules itself out of most of what Islamic apps do: • No notifications of the form "You missed Fajr." Only forward-looking: "Asr enters in 12 minutes." • No prayer counters, no attendance percentages, no streaks of any length. • No badges, no leaderboards, no social feeds. • The Prophet's name is always followed by PBUH.
