What's New in Waqt
1.1
September 16, 2026
A big update focused on making Waqt simpler and much easier to read. SIMPLER HOME SCREEN Today now shows what you actually need: the next prayer, your five prayers, and today's plan. Everything else — streak, sunrise, qibla — is one tap away under More. TEXT SIZE THAT WORKS Four sizes, up to Largest, and it changes every screen in the app including the Qur'an. EASIER ON THE EYES Waqt now opens as dark text on warm paper, which is far easier to read. Prefer the dark look? Settings › Reading › Night. Colours were rebuilt so text stays clear on whichever background you pick. QUR'AN A proper mushaf script, larger Arabic, and the English translation now grows with your text size. Reading settings live in one clear panel, and choosing Sepia or Black now changes the whole screen instead of a small box. LESS CLUTTER Per-verse and per-plan tools now wait until you tap, instead of crowding every row. Also: clearer prayer times in the Planner, larger navigation labels, and many fixes for readability throughout.
