Everything is a money grab. There is always some new event, new pack, new upgrade, or some limited-time offer that makes you feel like you need to spend just to keep up. And once you start spending, it never really stops. You can put a lot of money into this game and still feel like you’re behind.
The worst part is that it isn’t even really about strategy anymore. A lot of the time it comes down to who is willing to spend the most. Someone can play for years, build up their kingdom, and put in countless hours, only to get passed by someone who comes along and spends a ridiculous amount of money.

Nothing in the previews actually happens in the game, game is a copy and paste online base builder/alliance game, game is entertaining until around C32 then it becomes a grind and progressive becomes harder to do unless you pay
Time to move on
Not sure if anyone else has recently had this issue. Started in a new kingdom and cannot bind my game to my email. Tried everything we could think of. Contacted support and they basically said to do same thing we’ve already done on our end. After several days not getting anywhere, I’ve decided time to move on and play another game. A shame because I’ve always come back to this one. Guess I don’t spend enough money. Who knows.

I’ve played this game for years and reached C41. It used to be one of my favourite games, and for a long time it was genuinely a lot of fun. Unfortunately, it has now turned into a pure money grab in almost every aspect of the game.
It’s honestly a shame watching such a good game go in this direction. They constantly add new features and mechanics that require players to spend even more money, while the gap between free-to-play and paying players continues to grow.
At this point, the pay-to-win advantage is ridiculous. One strong player can practically take on an entire group of 12 players and still come out on top. The power gap has become far too large, and strategy matters less and less compared to how much money someone is willing to spend.
If you’re thinking about starting this game, I honestly wouldn’t recommend it. There are plenty of other kingdom-building and strategy games out there that are much more enjoyable and don’t feel nearly as focused on getting players to constantly spend money.
It’s disappointing to see what this game has become.

Very Very Addictive I’ve been playing now for about 5 years been to multiple realms and made multiple friends and Enemies. People will say it’s just 1 big cash grab game and yes it can be there are people out there who are absolute whales and spend alot but you can still compete against them even as free to play player it just takes a lot longer to progress. Me and my wife play together we have loved every second of the game and never had any issues with the game or the company who runs the game. We intend to spend many more years playing together. Definitely worth checking out if you like strategy war games 10/10 👌

Crack cocaine in a game
Ridiculously addictive game, that is set up to be 100% pay to win - it draws you in early with a huge amount of commitment and requirement to come back at regular intervals to farm and build your castle. Before you know it you’re in it constantly, setting alarms to get back on time and even with the continuous grind you can’t compete with people spending tens of thousands of pounds on their setup. The sums of money involved are ridiculous.
Not to mention how toxic players can be. This is a kind of game that will ruin lives and relationships, please just avoid and definitely don’t let children play.
