Cheap HoMM knock off
When the devs made this game they had to been high after a late night of eating Taco Bell and drinking Mountain Dew.
This game is a very cheap knock off of Tinysoft’s games that are a knock off of the original Heroes of Might & Magic 3 game which set the gold standard to turn based strategy. So how does this game fail? Allow me to explain.
First, the initiative is senseless. Either your whole team goes first or the enemies whole team goes first. 100% dumb!
Second, there is absolutely no place to go back and farm. Campaign/Dungeon/Arena(vs bots), they all are clear as you go and they grow exponentially. I get the enemy scales as your army grows, but it scales massively.
Third, ranged troops can fire with a troop next to them at any other troop on the board. This devalues flying troops to zoom in and obstruct shooters. Again dumb!
I won’t even get into the whole AI gets Morale/Luck bonuses much more than I do, or that the ranged icon is swapped with the flying troops icon, or that you can’t find dungeon keys anywhere short using in game gem currency to buy them, or that the overall gameplay is slow and clunky.
If you are a fan of the classic HoMM games, do yourself a favor and DO NOT waste your time with this junk. This game screams lazy.
