Nice Idea

This is a well designed app with a largely friendly interface. The concept is excellent, and most of the questions are good or very good. However, there are several mistakes (use of slightly incorrect terminology, spelling errors, errors where the correct answers don't match the descriptions) and many of the explanations to the questions are too brief and leave little room for deep learning. I would agree with other reviewers that the app would benefit from a better review of a case at the end of each case. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to adjust or turn off the timer; whilst medical situations are time stressful, MCQ exams tends not to be, so it would be good to be able to tailor the app to your intended revision purposes. Overall, an app with potential to be great, but too many niggling errors for me to recommend over the many other medical question apps out there.

Pimpfest

Reminds me of rounds pimp sessions. Fun but could benefit from an unlimited time option.

Good app

Very nice app

Not was I was expecting, but...

After trying out this app after seeing the Facebook page, I didn't realize that actually the game wasn't like a medical version of Pokemon after all which was a little misleading...

But, it's still a good app. I like how you can try out different categories and time pressure makes it pretty interesting.

I think the greatest improvement you could make is to make questions for students not just in their final year, but for across all years (I found the questions a little hard not being final year yet).

Excellent educational app

It is refreshing to see such a well designed educational tool that engages students with medical cases in a holistic way. As a haematologist myself I was particular impressed with the haematology/oncology section which tends to be overlooked in the undergraduate curriculum. I look forward to seeing more.
