Great idea horrible execution
This would be a super fun game if they made it playable. This game is buggy as all heck.

How can you play the game when your chess has been covered by the advertisements???
Lots of potential. Lots to improve but still fun.
The game is fun and it’s free! The mechanics add some flair to chess but the explanation of how they work is poor.
Things I would like to see in order to get 5 stars from me.
-Better advertisement placement
Ads are a given in free games but often times the ads cover up buttons I need access to. For example: sometimes I can’t cancel a bad move at times because the advertisement banner covers the button.
-An intuitive tutorial
When I started my first game, it was a little jarring because of the way the grid is set up. It made sense after fiddling with it a bit but it is a little awkward having my pawns stay on a light square and being able to attack what feels like is an adjacent square but is, in reality, a diagonal.
The special squares aren’t explained either. They are really neat concepts and work really well, but are still confusing without a tutorial of sorts.
-It’s functional but not pretty.
This isn’t as important as the first two things. But the color palette in the game is not super pleasant to look at. It feels incomplete. It gets the job done in differentiating the pieces but otherwise the colors are stark, bright, and lack the elegance I feel like chess players comes to expect when playing on a electronic device. As this app is super new though; it’s not the end of the world. But I think a better presentation could really help the experience.
Overall, it’s worth a download.

Could be a lot better
The ads in the lower left corner make it impossible to cancel moves

it's of all, it's probably the laggiest game I've ever played, and you have to pay to play online! What kind of garbage app is this?
Lame
This game sounds like a good idea, but once you open the app and try it out you quickly realize the graphics are lame and old AND you have to pay for the version of the app where you can play live players. Not going to pay for this knock of version of the game when I can play great chess (the real thing) on chess.com. <great app by the way< sorry but this app gets a thumbs down maybe if it was free to play against others and if they updated the graphics but as is..no thanks

It is sad that crap, Freemium Apps pollute the Store like AOL cds do a landfill while legitimate, quality games don't get the time of day. This is a quality, original game that I hope others get the opportunity to appreciate.

Challenging
I like that the game shows where to move the pieces. That's helpful to amateur players. What could be more helpful is to have an option where you can play against one opponent only, rather than only playing against all three opponents.
For myself personally, I'd like to see an option which explains the results of the game,
whether I win or lose. I just finished a game where I lost because I was checkmated, but it didn't seem I had the opportunity to retaliate by either taking out my opponent's piece or moving. I'm not positive whether it was a checkmate or the clock running out.
It's also not always clear who wins. Yes there is a scoreboard of points, so that is one indication. In this particular game, two of my opponents had been checkmated and cleared off the board; one colour had been checkmated by one of the other computer players, and I believe I checkmated the other.
It's not that I want the game dumbed down but I'd like to see an option that the human player can access if so desired, that explains the moves and results like a sidebar with a running commentary....'red rook captured green castle puts queen in jeopardy; green queen checked, only two moves left; red player wins the games'. Or even an announcement saying purple player wins game in 15 moves... This could be an option you can turn on and off, to run while playing, or which you can access after the game is over. I think this would help the players get better at the game and get better at the challenges of playing against three other opponents whether it's against 3 other human players, or just against the computer.
Overall, I like the game, but as a player who hasn't played chess in a long time, and definitely hasn't played against three other players, that option I'd find helpful.
