Money Grab
Redownloaded the game after some time (last time the game crashed and would not open anymore). Only real issue with the game is the money grab. I’ve only been playing for a day and already the levels are almost unbeatable. I play for 5 minutes, barely win or I lose, then it’s 20 minutes of waiting for my units to respawn. What’s the point of the time delay on getting my units back? This is not a casual, fun to play game.

Stuck in loading screen
I’ve had this game before and was a good building not time intensive strategy game. I started back up and remembered why I stopped before. The game gets caught up on the loading screen. Using an iPhone 10 with updates. This game is unable to load after multiple days.

I’ve been playing for 12 years unfortunately when I got my new phone nothing transferred over but I still really love the game an would really like to see a console version . If you ever consider it anyways I really like how the game is set up an I’d probably spend more money being I play console more

This game is Fun!
Challenging and fun battles. Turn based combat and rock, paper, scissors advantages of different troop types makes sense and works well. Time limit for bonus victory is sometimes hard to get, and some boss battles have to wait until you’re stronger so it’s not too easy. I’m really enjoying leveling up my characters. Happy to support the developer with my first months subscription. Nice deal offering the first month subscription at 80% off a few battles into the game. Wait for that deal. After playing a week I can’t say enough good things about this game. Joined an active alliance and was very pleased to see even the lowest strength player (me) in the alliance could contribute significantly to alliance quests and earn significant rewards! And the PvP is not deadly, worst that happens is your troops take 45 minutes to recover and heal for free, or you can spend gems to speed that up. And that only happens when you choose to attack a stronger player. And when you get attacked nothing bad at all happens, the other player just gets victory points for beating you. No troop losses or resources lost at all. You can not be zeroed like so many other games, and there is no shield required, it doesn’t even exist. You can play for free, but you’ll have even more fun if you buy some $5-10 upgrades. Cheap fun. Excellent game. Kudos to the developers!

I found this game before surgery a couple years ago. I’m still playing. I like that it’s engaging, strategically centered and most importantly it’s not necessary to spend money to enjoy. It helps to buy but not required. Plus, there are different ways to financially contribute; a little or a lot.
One thing is frustrating. There are a couple of characters that cannot advance like the others. Opportunities to advance them only comes around once or twice a year.
Ok 2 things. Those 2 characters are last 2 new characters added. I love this game so much. I’d love more opportunities to do new things❣️

Good game, not a money grab
They do a really good job with this game. You can tell they actually care about the game. There are plenty of options to purchase to upgrade faster but they don’t pummel you with ads pushing you to purchase. It’s the kind of effort you Want to support because they don’t push so hard with purchase options that you no longer want to play. It’s my favorite game actually. Thank you!

Pretty good game but slow
I’ve been playing a long time now and I give it three stars because I enjoy it at times. At other times I just find it a grind
If you like the type of games where you set up your pieces as if on a game board and determine the best troops to go up against what you see this is your type of game
Like most games these days you collect resources when you win and use them to make your troops stronger. This takes time
The story isn’t bad but the developers do take a long time to get new exciting updates in. This isn’t a problem for new players though as there is a lot to do before you have to worry about it
The prices are ridiculous if you like to pay to play. Not sure how many people do it since they want extreme amounts of money for almost nothing. It’s really amazing. They need to throw in some sweet $5 or less deals so those of us who want to support the developers can give them some money.
The other bad part is the time you have to wait after a battle. You have to really make use of the rest areas otherwise your out for an hour (reason I quit clash of clans). I prefer games where you can play more or less as much as you want

Fun but game crashes
Fun till got to level were it teachs you to heal on village then crashed and locked up so I deleted andreinstalled the game again play worked great till I beat that level were you heal and crash locked up same thing wait till I got some msg about the server and retry so I did and nothing but the game was fun thanx

Worth 5 stars but you are only giving it 3?
As long as you have new territory to unlock, this game is a 5 star rating. Sure there are some annoying bugs in it. I still get a mismatch error and I have to restart my device from time to time in order to fix it and continue playing. Sometimes you get a constant marching sound and you have to get the game to fully restart in order to get rid of it. It’s annoying but the actual gameplay is fun and you can be strategic as it does take some thought in what you do and how to play to ultimately beat this game.
That’s the unfortunate part. You can beat it and you can do it without collecting all of the characters and without being on their max level and without cheating all based on your strategies. Once you have conquered all the land, there’s really no point in playing this game anymore. Sure, you can log back in a couple times a day and spend a few minutes cleaning out the 5 pvps on your screen and fight a boss for a couple of minutes. Maybe spend a few on strongholds (which aren’t properly scaled to give you endless combative challenges) and that’s it. There’s no heroic/nightmare version unlocked to further challenge yourself to reconquer all the lands a second or third time to keep you engaged.

Good game but issues.
This game was really good until I made it further along and started purchasing things. If the game crashes after purchasing an upgrade or when you buy more gems. You just end up losing your money. Recently I made a 50$ purchase that charged my account but game me no gems. It wants me to send my copy of a recipes but I was never given a receipt for my purchase. I sent a trouble ticket I about this in the passed and the ticket was just closed. Still a good game I just wouldn’t put any money into it

Alliances
I was scrolling through alliances trying to find one where more than 8 players were active at a time from the recommended alliances. Maybe clearing out players who have been afk for a while might be better than leaving alliances with 30 players who aren’t active. That way people who do play can actually join random groups of other active players.
Also I was really enjoying the game and even purchased a pack to support the devs, since I’m only a month into the game, but the recovery time of an hour makes this game less and less enjoyable and the prospect of it being pay to play is extremely sad that devs would rather waste peoples time than provide a streamlines experience. Having bundles is one thing but when I have to pay for Ds to revive a unit or wait an hour to do anything it makes the game grind feel unrewarding and overall feels like the devs don’t really care much about what the game is as long as the money is still coming in from whales and impulse buyers.

This game is just a money grab although it’s fun it targets the weakest unit even if they lose the battle the whole point is for you to spend diamonds killing the units that you need to participate in alliance missions I can get decisive victories just be putting a weak unit in my mix also there difficulty is off some are easier but it makes it difficult to play when the opponents critical chance is no where close to yours I’ve played missions where they almost constantly it’s a real turn down to play this game my guess is opponents have over 50% chance to critical in battles with 3 skulls they kill my strongest units almost all the time with crits making me have to wait over an hour to play again the only way to complete alliance mission is to bring a unit with 1 health in the mission and why is it always the weakest units that you need to bring in to complete missions. I just fought a pvp battle with 2 skulls and the first 12 hits were critical in a row how are you suppose to win with those odds thrown at you

Fun to play until it isn’t
It’s fun and quick to play at lower levels, but once you advance, you could be waiting over an hour for your regiments to heal and be ready to play again. Of course there is also the option to spend real money to purchase in game currency to heal your regiments. I have also noticed that some of the currency within the game simply vanishes without your using it, a rip off and definitely push to get you to spend diamonds/money to buy diamonds. I actually took screen shots because i thought i was going crazy. Aside from the obvious cash grab, it really is a fun turn-based strategy game (until it isn’t).

They have ruined the game with the most recent update. They stole our gear that many people spent money on. They stole the ability to customize our units, and made it near impossible to upgrade them without dumping loads of cash into the game. Lost over 10 members from our clan, and many more said that if 1 million or more gold is not given to compensate for all the mythical items that were stolen they are leaving the game. Every single mythical item they stole costs 100,000 gold to get back from scratch. How much did they give you for it? Zero zilch nada. I had mythical waiting for my members to reach 23, took a lot of time and resources to collect them, and because my troops were only levels 20-22 they stole them and gave no means to replace them. So what took almost 6 months to year to collect they took in one day and said this is for your Benefit. What crooks, they said it was to fix a in game exploit. There was no exploit, it was one of the better features of the game available to all, the ability to change equipment on your characters. If for some reason you felt that people equipping lesser equipment which made fights harder and gave higher pvp points in return, then why didn’t you simply restrict players from equipping lower level equipment then their current rank? I’ll tell you why, because then you couldn’t try to extort more money out of people. Don’t download this game it’s not worth your time the devs are a bunch of crooks

Loss of customization
The new version lost the ability to customize regiments with selected gear. A player could put the gear of their choice to utilize the regiments ability to their liking and the user’s fighting style. This is no longer possible. Now every regiments for all players has the same characteristics. This is boring and removes the sense of personalization a user had about their regiments. Other options were available. A unique set of gear could be made available with each new regiment. And this gear could be swapped between regiments, level permitting. Indeed, a resizing fee could be assessed to discourage rampant gear swapping. This would retain the ability for users to customize their units, but still work with the new gear advancement system. But this was not the choice that the development team took. Now all players are just playing the same game and fighting the same PvP regiments.

Horrific screwing of all players. Took everything of value /strength and replaced it with garbage. All in effort to get you to spend more. As I said before greed has destroyed the lil bit of fun that was left.
For those that can’t open after this latest update your better off, just let it go, find a new game to play.

Farming resources is a joke and gambling at its best. In fact you have better odds at a slot machine then farming resources.
For a game approved for 12+ they should be ashamed of themselves. I’ll go to Vegas if I want to gamble.
As far as farming resources if it was really equal and random among all players then the game wouldn’t have to contact the server every time as of recent. YOU ARE CROOKS

Was a good game before the update
I was enjoying the game until the new update came out. Before the update my regiments were doing far more damage and taking less because the equipment was almost the best. After the update all equipment was weakened so taking more damage and doing far less damage. Has become very hard to grind battles for quests goals. The change over was very weak as well. I had a lot of unused equipment but did not receive much gold and ingots to level up equipment enough to bring me back where I was. Seems the new updates made the game fully pay to play.

Ok but need money to play
If you like games you can play 5 mins every 20 minutes then this is for you. When your troops get injured it takes real time for them to recoup. Enemy troops will make moves that encourage you to spend money like sacrificing themselves to cause the most downtime for a troop while there are better positions strategically. Good game but falls short due to Greedy developers. Late game downtime becomes up to three hours in between matches. Best way to play this game is not play for a year and just collect daily rewards, that way you can overpower opposition.

Star with strong hold which with the name u would think be fun and rewarding when you unlocked! Think again rewards are joke , coins for missions on this game is like finding 1€ during your life time , my recommendation for developers yes I get it u have to make money which I have spend close to 500 but make it more rewarding, you drop rate for farming is like 15% every 10 farm u get the items u trying to get a the mission cost a lot to, like balance it out . Your character are not balanced with there abilities. Yes I’m talking after spending hrs on this game , your experience per mission are like blind man with out walking stick .

1: need to be more rewarding for missions
2: balance characters better with there abilities
3: in prove drop rate for farming missions on your dailies
4: stop making the same level up items need it every time you go up levels make it unique not same old .
5: your PVP has no feed back , you can’t see if people attack your team , you can’t talk global, you clan rewards are joke .
6: character attack need better animations so as to feel part of your warriors and part of the history
7: your story line is cry out for help !!!!
If you guys don’t target this simple list you players will get board right away and move on to other games .
Overall the game idea is great, great detail on characters background but doesn’t match the crappy story telling .

Ridiculous
I’m at level 10 and can’t advance any further because the battles have become ridiculously difficult.
For example, I have to face 4 mages that are level 2 and rank 8 92 health along with a spear that is level 2 rank 8 with 220 health. There’s no technique that is going to allow me to win, I’ve tried over and over. And all the other battles I can engage in are of similar difficulty so there’s no point in even playing anymore.
And develops don’t bother with saying oh you have to change your tactics. There’s no tactics that are going to allow me to win against this team, I’ve tried dozens of times at this point and they are just way too powerful. I don’t see why you make battles that are impossible to win with the troops that I currently have. But I can’t get more troops without being able to progress. It’s ridiculous and a blatant attempt to force you to pay $68 for new troops. Sorry I don’t make enough money to spend $68 on a game, so I’m glad that the developers make so much money that they find this to be a negligible amount
