About
Two zones. Three lanes. One thumb.
WarpTap is a horizontal lane-dodger built around the simplest possible input: tap the left half of the screen to move up a lane, tap the right half to move down. Your beam of light races forward through a 3-lane track while obstacles rush at you from the right.
The twist? Every 12 obstacles the lanes WARP. INVERT — top and bottom swap. MIRROR — adjacent lanes flip. SHIFT — all three rotate. NARROW — three lanes collapse into two. Your muscle memory becomes a liability. Your taps still work, but they don't mean what they meant a moment ago.
Rhythm disruption is the whole game. You build a natural left-right tapping cadence to weave through obstacle patterns. Then a warp shatters that rhythm and your thumbs panic for a split second before re-mapping. The "I almost had it" feeling comes from dying right after a warp because your brain was still on autopilot.
— Pure binary tap input. No swipe, no hold, no drag.
— 3 parallel lanes, expanding obstacle patterns
— 4 warp types unlock progressively (invert → mirror → shift → narrow)
— Two-lane blocks force single-safe-lane precision
— Speed and obstacle density escalate continuously
— Visual zones change every 25 points
— Rounds under 30 seconds, instant retry
— Score and best score always visible
The escalation curve is calibrated so you always die just past your comfort zone. One more try. One more try. One more try.
