Neat but needs levels.
It’s neat. But single player AI will win the scout and kill race almost every time. I haven’t played battleship in years and it’s clear this game was programmed with a competency level well above mine with no difficulty options to ease the pain.

Fun, but avoid single player
A simple Battleship game to enjoy with family or friends, and even has the ability to play on two different devices so you can get the old-school feel. Graphics and gameplay are basic and you can have a repeating music track play if you wish.
Avoid the single player, though, the bot is insane. It either shoots your ships or a space next to them each time, it clearly knows where your pieces are and toys with you until it decides to win. If you get close to winning and only have a ship left to get on the bot, it will auto-find your remaining ships in the same turn and win anyway.

Thank you for your feedback. However, I assure you that in single player mode, the bot does not know where your ships are. The bot is quite intelligent, and it's definitely not easy to beat, but it doesn't know the locations of the ships it hasn't hit yet. It is possible to win against the bot.

My husband and I love playing this game together. We are both on our phones playing sometimes next to each other and sometimes when he’s out of town :)
