What an amazing concept. The app came to me at a time of my life when I needed it the most. I’ve always traveled around the country and found it so easy to connect with people, for some reason I didn’t have that same experience here in the US, but finding this app was a game changer. There are so many different plans happening all the time, getting exposed to other micro communities in the city, making plans, truly connecting, making relationships, friendships. My new go to app
Moved here from another city so trying to find fun events to go to or nice / safe people to go with was important to me. Luckily a friend introduced me to this app and there is always something fun going on so I’m never bored and the people I’ve met at the events have been so nice. I used to go to events alone and now I don’t have to!

I was having a lot of trouble meeting people in LA. I went to meetups I’ve been on tons of app and somehow still felt really isolated and alone. After downloading this app and finally just joining something, I actually met people I talk today to day. I could not recommend it enough. If you have just moved, or feel you don’t have anyone to go with somewhere or just want to meet new people…coolest app I’ve been on.

This app made my experience moving to LA so much better. Rather than trying to coordinate with individual people on other apps or go on dates, this app makes it so easy to get together in small groups and meet people in a safe, fun, and platonic environment. Washed up has been, by far, the best app to make new friends and community and to try new things or things you already enjoy doing with new people. The limited group setting allows you to get to know the people you’re with in a way that builds real connections. What an excellent execution of a great idea!

Loving this app
Probably the first “social” app I’ve used simply due to the ease of use as well the more “personal” nature of the events. Most other apps have a huge amount of people for events whereas WashedUp limits to a smaller group making it easier to have 1 on 1 connections.
