Don’t waste your time
I used the lite version and it was not helpful whatsoever. It was just literally a map with none of the major landmarks. It had streets and neighborhoods labeled but no Washington Monument, State Capitol, not even the White House labeled! And quit unexpectedly three times after opening and doing nothing.. don’t waste your time.

Pointless App. At least is didn't crash...
In Washington DC...wanted to find some buildings. Went to national mall, zoomed in--all streets, no building tags. Have to go into useless submenus, etc. google maps is better. Heck, Apple maps is better!
Meh- might help in some circumstances
It gives you a map, which is legible, but lacks names of buildings, attractions, etc. you can search for attractions in a list ordered by distance, but you can only see then on the map one at a time. I could see using this if I had no data connection at all, but its frustratingly limited compared to using something like the google maps app. This version seems to be a teaser for the premium version, maybe it's better but this preview didn't make me interested enough to upgrade.

Portrait Mode Only
Why doesn't this app change to landscape mode on my iPad? It would be much easier to use if it did.

dismal failure
I downloaded it yesterday and after standing for 20 minutes on a corner in DC realized that I may spend another 20 minutes just figuring out which direction to go. Worse, it shows - with blue lines - the pathways of DC Metro, but it does not show where the metro stations are or which lines are they.

The maps are ok, but you would think a map of Washington DC would have the monuments on it. Not worth the trouble. Deleting the app now.
POI not on map
I was hoping this map would show places of interest. It's got an extensive list, but that's all you have - just a list. Why not show those as points on the map? Or maybe I'm missing something. It doesn't do what I need it to do.

I Installed the program but it will not launch. tried installed again and reboot my ipad, still no go.

Great map, so-so features
This map is great and is easy to use. Unfortunately I'm unable to save locations. Of course this may be my own fault, not knowing how to use the features correctly. Because it's free though, there isn't much to complain about! Great map overall.
I hate driving in dc
This app is awesome, when the gps won't track you quickly enough the offline map is perfect.
Great for touring DC on foot
Great app to help you find your way to all the tourist places and subway stops. Let it use your phone's location and you can see where you are on the map with reasonable accuracy, but it may show your location around 10 meters off.

Very useful and a great tool for someone in town without a car and gps system.

I used this app to get all over Washington dc. I had very important meetings that I could not miss, and the maps were spot on.....can't wait for the San Francisco map!
