Keeps us on schedule
After coming back from holidays or one questions if garbage /recycling is being picked up on a stat holiday, this App makes things clear. Other functions would be good too such as snow removal and just as important, when the pea gravel will be cleaned up in the spring. It is inefficient when people power-broom their yards after the street cleaner goes by. Sometimes it just never gets cleaned up.

This app literally saves my marriage weekly. When my husband is trying to tell me it’s recycling week, I can whip out this nifty app and prove, once again, that I am always right.

Has usefulness
Though there is room for improvement over time, it is a good first public version. By typing in your address it lets you know when your garbage (and recycling) days will be picked up -no matter which neighbourhood or side of the street you live on, and it helps you remember which items go in each bin. plus it has a handy reminder to set off a little alarm on your cell to remind you/family members to take the garbage out the night before. We like it.
