Keeps giving off false lost notices

I keep getting iPhone lost alerts, even when the phone is next to me. I hopped this would help me but with constant false alerts ….

バッテリー消費が激しすぎる

locationaccess機能を使っているとapple watch、iphone共にバッテリーがすぐ無くなります。
正確な位置情報まではいらないので、watchとiphoneのBluetooth接続が切れたら通知してくれるくらいで忘れ物防止には十分なのですが…。

※追記
お返事のように設定したところiphoneのバッテリー使用量はほぼ無視出来るくらい抑えられました。ただapple watchは依然として減りが多いですね。ultraシリーズじゃないと実用に耐えません。

There is also app setting to use less battery. If you change "Location Accuracy" to Wi-Fi 1 or 3 km, the app will not use GPS for location updates, but it will still refresh location frequent enough and with Wi-Fi enabled, location will be enough accurate in urban areas. Beside that, you can also stop updating location on iPhone and you will still get notifications on Apple Watch, only without iPhone location. This will save battery on iPhone even more. All other functions will work as intended.

Great little app

This app lets me know when the phone is not with me. I love it.

Worth it

The app is quite effective. It notifies you when you lose Bluetooth connection with your phone. While there are a few initial teething problems, once you get the hang of it, it works well. Even with reduced location accuracy, it functions effectively without significantly draining battery life. The main drawback is that it prevents sleep mode if left on overnight; if sleep mode is important to you, you'll need to manually turn the app off at night and back on in the morning.

Works as Designed

This app works quite well so far. But recently it told me that my phone was lost when I had it with me. that's fine as long as it notifies me when my phone is actually left behind.

Nice app

Good application, small battery usage. No more iphones left behind. One small issue - app seems to be disabling sleep mode screen in “always on” watch mode.

Fantastic app and support

This app works VERY well and is worth every penny. I have been using it for quite some time and it works well. The developer has a VERY QUICK support response to comments. Excellent app and Service!

Too complicated

I am always leaving my phone behind, either in the car in the dashboard phone caddy, or in the garage or barn because I often take it out of my pocket and put it down when I am crawling around working on a vehicle or moving hay or what not. I got this set up and tested it and it seemed to work, but the next day it stopped working about midday. I am not sure why, but the Debug window said it lost contact with the phone at 11:03. There was no reason to at that point as they were both on me at that time. Plus, I did not get a left behind alarm to say the connection was lost. And then I could not get it to reconnect. The software author responded quickly, but his instructions were pretty overwhelming and were as, if not more, complicated than the initial setup. I switched to Phone Buddy. Easier and more reliable. I have had no issues with it.

Thanks for the feedback and for trying Watch4 myPhone. I didn't want to scare you, but I wanted to give you as much info I could. But the app should work if location updating is enabled. And in rear cases restart of the app or the watch must be done.

It’s a bit complicated

You need to make sure your watch is really connected to your iPhone. Getting that done after rebooting your watch is not a smooth process. I have found that clicking the flat watch button will let you know if it’s tracking your phone. If it does not show up, it’s not connected. It would be very helpful if there was an indicator that would always be on the watch face when connected.

Battery drain and false alerts

Noticeable battery drain so unfortunately it’s had a huge impact and so couldn’t keep using it - it also went off within the house sporadically - so I can’t recommend as a solid app but will keep an eye on it to see if it improves but deleted for now.
