Couldn’t get past the sign up page.
Downloaded and attempted to create an account so I could watch videos…..found it impossible to complete the sign up as the final input required a region and apparently Orlando Florida doesn’t have one? Read other reviews after my issues and it appears that this app has real issues. Frustration!

Misleading
I just wanted to watch ACL. Even if it’s just old reruns. I didn’t want to have to fill out several pages to sign up as a member for something I’ll likely never use. Good grief… I need a director to watch this? Change the name of the app to ACL membership.

Basically that’s it. Can not log in and can’t go to a register or anything else.
Main features of new app not working
Most videos clips just simply do not work. The vids are almost all limited to audio. Just see a blank black screen so cannot actually see the video on my iPhone and iPad. The new app also has very little content. Looks like it’s just the current season available

I wish I could give this app 0 stars. The old app worked fine but it’s as if they rolled out this app without any testing. I cannot log into my account and I paid for a full year recently. What a waste of money.
Constant buffer. Old app was better.
I’m sure they are already working on this but the new app buffers endlessly to the point I don’t really watch events anymore. Hoping it gets fixed soon or they just bring back the old app which worked great.

You just lost SO much money switching apps. Definitely losing money from me. I can’t even log in anymore. It’s ridiculous. Way to go.
App is terrible
So it’s been a week and I have updated my iOS, uninstalled/reinstalled the app still won’t play video I only get audio. Plus, you can’t read the video descriptions without clicking into them and there is no back button. I can’t believe they won’t update the app or even acknowledge the problem. I will be canceling my subscription soon if it’s not fixed because what am I paying for?!

Worst app ever
So frustrated to even have to write this review. The ACL had a great app for watching all of it’s events. It was super easy to use, plus you could download events to watch when not online (i.e. on an airplane). This new app is absolute trash, it’s like it never even got tested!! For starters it doesn’t even have all the events, and good luck even trying to find what they do have. It’s terrible to try and navigate through. You can’t see the full event name so you just have to guess. When you do try to watch something the video doesn’t even work, only the audio. It’s absolutely worthless!!

Was the tvOS app tested?
This is scathing, but it’s meant to be constructive. Live streaming is constantly buffering and almost always in non-HD (maybe 360p?). My fiber internet connection is not the issue. The same Facebook sourced stream was always HD. The tvOS app seems to require logging in daily. Not too big a deal except the iPhone keyboard will not work on the username. The password box kind of works from iPhone (thank God). Beyond that, navigation is awful, with the “cursor” returning to the top left on every screen. And with it not being obvious you constantly return to the Home Screen till you get used to tis awful UX behavior. Video lists don’t scroll when the cursor leaves the screen. Some videos never play, just audio. The app makes no use of the built in video controls (skip ahead, speed scrubbing, etc.). The iOS app isn’t quite as terrible. It has nearly all of the same issues but is a little easier to navigate. CornholeTV is possibly the worst part. Strange breaks in the middle of games to show the same 4 or 5 “trick shot Tuesdays”. Leaving the live countdown placeholders in place. Just show non-stop games instead of all this ESPN-inspired filler. How many times can one person need to sit through the same Cornhole 101 Cornhole Science? And what happened to all the past year videos? If August is supposed to be a free trial to show the value of the app. It’s a fail. This app pales in comparison to the previous one.
