This app is very helpful and has been for years here in the area where wildfires occur regularly. I appreciate it a lot. It’s so stunning that the government doesn’t view this as their job and doesn’t make this freely available, or at least pay the creators of this app for it.

Peace of Mind in California
This app has helped us countless times find out what is happening during fire season when we hear the Cal Fire planes flying by. We’ve been able to call neighbors to alert them of a nearby fire. We love that it is a collaboration with a university and a nonprofit.
