Great alternative

Great alternative for listening to SoundCloud while on the go - I use it on outdoor workouts when I only take my watch with me.

I had some issues where it would lose my login info and require reauthentication but these seem resolved now. Dev is very responsive.

Sorry, that is frustrating, especially during a workout. Version 2.3.0 includes fixes for login/session reliability, so please update and reconnect once from the phone or watch. After that, WatchCloud should be more reliable when you head out without your phone. If it still asks you to sign in repeatedly, please contact me through support.

Keeps losing login info

For the 3rd time in a week, I went to open the app while on an outdoor workout and it asked me again to log in from my phone - which is impossible to do from the tiny browser. I don’t bring my phone on workouts and that’s the whole point of me needing this app. So for my use case, it’s not reliable.

Stopped working

Stopped working last week or so! Needs iPhone in close proximity otherwise it stops and looks for the phone with a small red phone symbol. Was working fine pre that!

Needs work

Good app, but could use a few updates. Specifically the shuffle feature, which closes the app every time I try to shuffle a playlist.

Hallo, es tut mir leid, dass die Anmeldung nicht geklappt hat. Der Login kann einmalig über die iPhone-Begleitapp erfolgen. Nach dem „Connect“ wird die Watch-App direkt verbunden und ist sofort einsatzbereit. E-Mail, Google und Apple werden unterstützt. Wenn es weiterhin nicht klappt, bitte über den Support-Link melden, dann helfe ich sofort weiter.

This app is a scam, there’s quite literally no reason to download this, it does nothing but play SoundCloud music really slowly and laggy, there is already a SoundCloud app for the watch and it does everything this one does and better AND it’s free, and if you’re thinking you’ll get this one to download music, don’t. It doesn’t allow downloading music, scam

Sorry you had a frustrating experience. WatchCloud is a third-party SoundCloud streaming player for Apple Watch, including standalone playback over Wi-Fi or cellular. A quick clarification: WatchCloud does not advertise offline downloads. If playback was slow or laggy, it can be related to Watch network conditions. Contact support via the App Store page with your connection type and watchOS version and I’ll help troubleshoot.

Amazing SoundCloud app for the watch!

I was looking for a way to listen to SoundCloud while running without also carrying my phone and came across this app. After logging in I was able to access all the tracks and playlists I have saved in my SoundCloud library and the app played music without a problem, similar to the watch app from Spotify.

Three Major Issues

1) It keeps on automatically signing out of the app on my phone (hence the watch app is also automatically signed out as well);

2) There are no options to have the next music to automatically play, and hence I must stop my workout or put myself in distraction and potential danger (especially during cardio exercise) to be able to press for the same or next song to play;

3) The longer songs automatically stop playing after a few minutes;

THIS IS A GREAT APP., so PLEASE FIX IT ASAP!

Tolle neue Spulen - Funktionen

Letztes Update habe ich nur durch neu installieren der App durch Zufall bekommen, die neuen Spulen-Funktionen sind wirklich super. Das umschalten zwischen Wlan Verbindung über das Handy und mobiles Netz auf der Apple Watch, sorgt leider immer wieder mal für längere Wiedergabe Stopps, sonst läuft die App aber einwandfrei.

Update: Die App hat Probleme beim laden des letzten länger gehörten Set‘s. Es leiert Minuten lang ohne zu starten oder es ist nicht möglich Play zu drücken, oft hilft nur mehrmaliges neu starten der App oder ein komplett neues Set auszuwählen. Wahrscheinlich Probleme die letzte, gespeicherte Stelle wieder zu finden und abzuspielen. Bitte noch fixen!

Great app!

It’s hard to imagine SoundCloud doing this any better themselves! I’ve tried a few watch based SoundCloud solutions over the years and this is the best one. There have been some bugs but the developer is really responsive and fixes issues quickly. Great work, thanks again!

Great player !

Glad I found this app a while ago - it allows me to go running without my iPhone, and listen to DJ sets that I gather on my iPhone.
I really like the UI, it looks like an official version. I recommend !

Horrible app and even worse support

I bought this app so that I could download SoundCloud songs to my watch and listen to them without my phone connected. I contacted the developer about this and how I could download the songs and listen to them from my watch. I waited for over 2 weeks for a reply and it never came. It is a horrible app and is not worth 3 dollars.
