Great alternative
I had some issues where it would lose my login info and require reauthentication but these seem resolved now. Dev is very responsive.

Sorry, that is frustrating, especially during a workout. Version 2.3.0 includes fixes for login/session reliability, so please update and reconnect once from the phone or watch. After that, WatchCloud should be more reliable when you head out without your phone. If it still asks you to sign in repeatedly, please contact me through support.

Stopped working

WatchCloud streams from SoundCloud, so the watch still needs an internet connection through Wi‑Fi or cellular when your phone is not nearby. If the watch has no connection, it may look for the phone instead. If you do have Wi‑Fi or cellular available and it still stops working, please contact me through support so I can help troubleshoot.

Hallo, es tut mir leid, dass die Anmeldung nicht geklappt hat. Der Login kann einmalig über die iPhone-Begleitapp erfolgen. Nach dem „Connect“ wird die Watch-App direkt verbunden und ist sofort einsatzbereit. E-Mail, Google und Apple werden unterstützt. Wenn es weiterhin nicht klappt, bitte über den Support-Link melden, dann helfe ich sofort weiter.

Sorry you had a frustrating experience. WatchCloud is a third-party SoundCloud streaming player for Apple Watch, including standalone playback over Wi-Fi or cellular. A quick clarification: WatchCloud does not advertise offline downloads. If playback was slow or laggy, it can be related to Watch network conditions. Contact support via the App Store page with your connection type and watchOS version and I’ll help troubleshoot.

Three Major Issues
2) There are no options to have the next music to automatically play, and hence I must stop my workout or put myself in distraction and potential danger (especially during cardio exercise) to be able to press for the same or next song to play;
3) The longer songs automatically stop playing after a few minutes;

Tolle neue Spulen - Funktionen
Update: Die App hat Probleme beim laden des letzten länger gehörten Set‘s. Es leiert Minuten lang ohne zu starten oder es ist nicht möglich Play zu drücken, oft hilft nur mehrmaliges neu starten der App oder ein komplett neues Set auszuwählen. Wahrscheinlich Probleme die letzte, gespeicherte Stelle wieder zu finden und abzuspielen. Bitte noch fixen!

App Doesn’t Work

Hi! Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for trying WatchCloud. WatchCloud is a streaming player and requires an active Wi-Fi or cellular connection on Apple Watch. It does not support offline downloads, so playback will stop if the Watch goes out of coverage or into Airplane Mode. If you email watchcloud.app@gmail.com, I’ll be happy to help you get playback working reliably.
