Not Great, but it does have an upside
I downloaded this thinking it would give me the ability to watch YouTube on my Apple Watch.
I was sorely disappointed to find out that once purchased it would not let me log in to my Google account to see my playlists or saved videos or anything. Also, searching on the watch, you have to use voice commands instead of using the draw-to-type, otherwise it crashes.
The app has not been updated for over two years so it looks like Google no longer allows access via login.
I think mostly this is a remote to control the WatchPlayer app on your phone, just like all the other apps.
The one upside to this app, even though it’s paid, is that on your phone, the app supports picture-in-picture playback, unlike the native YouTube app. The drawback, again, is that you cannot log in to your Google account to access your own YouTube channels, so you have to manually search for the video you want to watch.

Don’t listen to these other Troglodytes
This is a cool app, it’s impossible to make YouTube videos play on an Apple Watch! It’s not this dev’s fault! People should actually read app descriptions before leaving negative reviews!
Fix it
This app has not yet been verified by Google in order to use Google Sign in.
It does not work on my apple watch serie 5
It does not work, and when trying to log in with Google, it tells me that it is not verified and that it is not trusted

App stopped working
I’ve had the app for quite a while now and it’s worked fine but recently my app on my Apple Watch stopped loading my playlists. I would like some support please, given the inconvenient scribble input method I only use the playlist option to open music.

If you want five stars, developer, allow the videos and the sound to play on the Apple Watch.
Works as described.
Just be aware that this doesn’t play the video on the watch itself—it simply acts as a remote control for the video playing inside the iPhone companion app. I should’ve read the description more before buying, but I can’t fault the developer here—the description says it’ll play on your phone.

Waste of money
Doesn’t work as hyped up. All it does is act like a remote control for your IPhone that is only a few inches away. Why do you need a remote control? It does not play anything on your watch. WatchTube is a misnomer, should be “YouTube Remote Controller”.

Hello! I renamed this app "WatchPlay" but Apple is taking a long time to approve the new name (it's been 2 weeks now). I'm sorry for the confusion
Doesn’t work
Tried multiple times to log in to watch playlists ob my watch and it logged me out about 20 seconds after i logged in.
