About
WatchRetro is a whole arcade that lives on your wrist — thirty hand-built games, all free, all yours. No ads, no paywall, no account, and it works with no iPhone nearby.
Start with the classics: Volley (paddle), Breaker (bricks), Coil (snake), and Drop (falling blocks). Then work through the shelves — Crown games like Bounce, Vortex, Helix, and Dodge, where the Digital Crown is the whole controller; aim-and-fire games like Salvo, Rocks, and Lander; tap games like Pulse, Stack, Cascade, Pairs, Mines, and Lights; swipe games like Merge, Weave, and Forage; and the newest pair — Juggle, where one paddle keeps three balls alive, and Putt, a seeded putting green where the Crown aims and a tap commits the stroke. Every game names its control on the Ready screen, so you're never guessing.
The physics are real — fixed-timestep motion and swept collision mean the ball never clips through a wall or tunnels through your paddle, even at top speed. Every hit, break, and landing answers back on the Taptic Engine, so the arcade plays in your wrist, not just on it.
Leave the picker idle and the cabinet starts playing itself — a real Attract Mode, demoing real games until you tap in. And every game you beat leaves a ghost: Ghost Replay races your live run against the recorded pace of your best, right on the HUD.
Every run is scored. Your best for each game is saved on-device, forever — force-quit, relaunch, it's still there. Beat it and you get a "New best." Earn two achievements per game — sixty in all — without a Game Center login. Built for start/stop play: raise your wrist for a twenty-second run, drop it, and the game auto-pauses and resumes exactly where you left off — never a lost run, never an accidental exit.
Pick from six CRT phosphor themes — green, amber, white, ice, magenta, red — toggle haptics, and put your top score on a watch-face complication. An optional iPhone companion mirrors your settings and scores, but the watch is the whole game and needs nothing else. No network. No data collected. Just the arcade, on your wrist.

The cabinet came alive. - Attract Mode: leave the picker idle and the games start demoing themselves — tap to take over. - Ghost Replay: every best run leaves a ghost. A quiet pace tag shows if you're ahead of it, live. - Two new games: Juggle (one paddle, three balls, no mercy) and Putt (a seeded putting green — Crown aims, tap commits). - Every game now signs its own game-over screen. - Sixty achievements across thirty games. Still no ads, no paywall, no account.
