Buggy and overcomplicated
Install process is ridiculously overcomplicated. I couldn’t get it to work so I suggest it’s not worth your time.

Mainly a vic emergency copy
Perhaps I am in the wrong area but all my alerts are the same as the free vic emergency app. The app is also dependent on users with a paid subscription filling in the incidents, so a real hit and miss.
Real Time Neighbourhood Watch
I’ve had this app for a couple of months now & its a great community tool. Get notifications in real time, whether it’s a traffic hazard, suspicious activity etc or more serious incidents of crime. As a subscriber I’m able to set up multiple watch zones & as my mother lives alone I’m now able to check activity around her which gives a little comfort knowing I can alert her with the help of this app. I’ve referred my family, friends & clients because the more it grows as a community the stronger the community stands in possibly preventing & disrupting opportunistic criminals. Watching out for one another is the best tool we have right now.

I have had a few incidents in my street which thanks to watch tower and the community it has brought together I was notified about the events. Highly recommended

It’s a great app. I’ve got all my family onto it as the more people using it, the better. I live in a rural community and love the fact that locals are also using it. Works better than our local grapevine!

Vibes
In a sea of AI slop this app feels like it has most certainly been vibe coded over a few prompts. It is riddled with bugs, dead links, and UX choices that make zero sense. My advice to the developer, roll back to basics. Simplify the entire app and run some actual UAT before pushing your next update. Looking at the developers list of other apps I feel he has just learnt what vibe coding is and is getting very excited by what it can do. This app could be 5 stars, just needs some work to get there.

Scam app
Just another scam app, gets you to give over all your information then hits you with a paywall.
Best app ever
If you have notifications on and you set the bubble around your house, you get so much notifications! Its so good to use i check it every time i get a notification and no bugs i have found so good app!
Too much useless reporting!
Too many f4rts reporting random stuff. “Unmarked delivery van parked in my street”, “Someone standing at the bus stop but didn’t board the bus”. These people seriously need to get their head checked other than that the app itself is a great concept.
Can’t setup
No way to setup an account as there is NO way in enable notifications at all! It’s been like this for well over a week. DO BETTER if you’re trying to be the go to public safety app. 🤦♂️
Unable to close account & data removal
Trialled this app, when you go to remove your account it comes up with an error to contact developers. I emailed the email they have on their app and have not received a response. I could just remove the app but I want my data removed. Do NOT sign up if you do not want the ability to opt out and are data conscience

Asks for notification permission but iOS never shows the notification permission popup, and WatchTower has no Notifications settings page, great concept. If it worked
