Wish you could Import photos
This looks like it might be good but I wanted to import photos to draw on like the other Raysoft Apps, and can’t……unfortunately all the other Raysoft Apps only let you have one use then close and never reopen….cannot find a way to contact them and find out what is wrong. Pity as the Apps are great fun…once only!

Extremely limited even paying for full app
This is extremely limited. If it had a blender tool and a straight line tool, you could have some real possibilities. I’m still looking for an app that has these things with a price like this.

I have been downloading art apps and this is the worst so far, it’s really a bummer that most of the art materials cost money and do not want to pay 5 dollars just to use art materials! It is also tricky to draw with so I hope you fix this!

I mean I like it just glitches and it’s hard to control I downloaded it because I liked drawing but it just DOESENT WORK ( I would very appreciate if you could make the app at least a little better thank you

Fun, lightweight drawing app. I like the novel way of sorting brushes and colours, especially the brush history. I gave 4 stars because I can’t seem to export my drawing to my photos. App closed each time I tried but I was able to attach it to an email and send it to friend.

Tried to contact the developer but the App Store link goes to a blank page.(not a good start)
Paid for this and another of their apps. Noted that whenever I draw near the top left of the screen in either app it crashes.
The water colour brush leaves a pixelated edge if not on another colour, it can be worked around but its a nuisance. Paid it upgrade the lite version +$5 and find its still the lite version with add ons. Had to buy the full version +$5 ($10) lot of cash for an App Store app. Only paid about $20 for procreate whew!.
I bought it for the water colour feature and it is pretty good within the digital limits. Being fair its a good app but not what I expected for the price. And i cant contact raysoft!@#

Such great potential
I do a lot of painting and drawing on the iPad and know all the art apps well. Each one has its strengths and weaknesses. Water Colour Pencil has two great strengths: great colour pencil and particularly the water colour engine which is streets ahead of anyone else. Unfortunately, the user interface badly lets it down. It's cramped and cumbersome. If they bring that in line with the big boys then this little app would be unbeatable in the colour pencil/watercolour styles. There would be nothing to touch it. Please, Raysoft, get moving!

It's good, but..
I like it, it's very realistic and everything mixes well.. But this app is very laggy. It crashes if you want to import a photo, or it just loads. I recommend this to people who are patient, because people like me (impatient) will get angry at this because it crashes. Oh yeah, and I noticed that when I crashed, it deleted my gallery. Thanks, app..

Really enjoying the ability to paint whenever and wherever.
Good drawing app.
I took off one star because i am a little confused about the name of the app. "Watercolor pencil" i assumed you used a color pencil tool and then a brush to give it the watercolor effect but there is no brush. It seems like you can buy the watercolor brush separate. But still not what the title led me to believe the app was like. Also, the interface takes up way more space than needed. The good: good brushes - air brush, color pencil and crayon. A lot of colors. Brush size and opacity options. A couple of the pen tools are pretty much the same. This app is very similar to other drawing apps without the "watercolor" promised in the title. Overall fun app and you can create some great works with it.

Love the pro version of this app.
The pro version of this app is excellent. It has water color brushes, etc., which is excellent, for tinting black and white and vintage photos, The light version is good but it only has pencils, not as versatile the pro version.
