Water Polo Referee Companion is an audio assistant for water polo referees. Paired with a Water Polo Board at the pool, it speaks key clock and score cues to your Bluetooth headset or a compatible referee radio, so you can keep your eyes on the water instead of the scoreboard. It runs your exclusion, violent action/brutality and timeout timers, and before the game the Course Marker tool measures the pool markings with the help of augmented reality. CUES REQUIRE A WATER POLO BOARD - The cues work with the Water Polo Board, a small wireless receiver that reads a supported wireless scoreboard at the pool and relays the live timing to your phone over Bluetooth. - Without a paired Water Polo Board the app cannot receive a live game. - Measuring the pool needs no Board. AT THE DESK - Exclusion or a violent action/brutality timer with one tap, counting playing time. End them early with one tap if needed. - Timeout timers count real time, not game time - Leave a phone or iPad at the table: turn on Guided Access and the app becomes a single game screen that stays awake, with a Call Referee button that calls the referee over MEASURE THE POOL - The Course Marker tool draws the course on the pool deck through your camera: the 2 m, 5 m, and 6 m marks from each end, the half distance, and the goal lines, each with a ring right where the cone goes. - Works on any iPhone or iPad that supports augmented reality; devices with LiDAR measure best.
