What's New in Water Tracker WaterDrop
1.1
August 14, 2026
This update fixes the things that were actually broken, and adds the things people kept asking for. OUNCES NOW WORK If you had the app set to imperial, it was lying to you. Your goal, your daily total, your history and the quick-add buttons all stayed in milliliters no matter what the setting said, and typing "16" into the custom amount box logged 16 ml instead of 16 oz. All of that now follows your unit setting. You also get proper 8, 12 and 16 oz quick-add buttons instead of odd converted numbers like 8.5 and 11.8, and the goal slider now moves a whole ounce at a time so you can actually land on 80. REMINDERS TURN OFF WHEN YOU TURN THEM OFF Switching reminders off left some of them still scheduled, so they kept arriving anyway. Every pending reminder now gets cleared properly. REMINDERS START WHEN YOU SET THEM TO If you set your first reminder for 8:00 it arrived at 9:00. It now arrives at 8:00. They also reset when you log a drink and stop for the day once you hit your goal, and there are quiet hours and a separate weekend schedule. THE DROP FILLS UP NOW The droplet on the home screen was a static shape. It now holds your day, rises as you log, and celebrates when you reach your goal. LIGHT MODE The app was dark only. It now follows your system setting, or you can pin it to light or dark. LOG WITHOUT OPENING THE APP A Home Screen widget with buttons on it, a Control Center control, an Apple Watch app with a goal ring, a watch face complication, and Siri and Shortcuts support. All free. MORE THAN WATER Coffee, tea, juice, milk, soda and alcohol, each counting toward your goal at its own rate. A GOAL, WITHOUT THE GUESSWORK Not sure what to set? Enter your weight in kg or lb and WaterDrop suggests a starting point. It is a rough rule of thumb, not medical advice, and you can move it any time. BOTH STREAKS ON THE HOME SCREEN Your current streak and your best streak now sit next to today's numbers. A missed day is forgiven rather than counted, and your best is never taken away. APPLE HEALTH Optional, off by default. Your drinks go into Health, and water you logged in another app is counted here once, with a badge. YOUR HISTORY, AND YOU CAN FIX IT Daily, weekly and monthly views instead of seven days. Edit any entry, add a drink you forgot yesterday, delete one, or undo the last one from anywhere. If your day does not start at midnight, move the rollover. YOUR OWN CUPS The three fixed buttons are gone. Set up the glass, bottle or mug you actually drink from, name it, pick a mark, say what is usually in it, and put them in the order you want. One tap logs the size and the drink together. They show up on the widget, and in Siri and Shortcuts. Free, like the rest of the logging. UK OUNCES If you are in the UK, "oz" meant the American ounce, which is 4 percent bigger than yours. There are now two separate options, US and UK, and picking UK changes your goal, your totals, your cups and your history to real imperial ounces. If you were already on ounces nothing moves until you choose. Thanks for the patience. If the units bug is what made you rate this app, it is fixed, and if anything else is off I would rather hear about it than not.
